Both. I'm of the mind that all the woke shit is too in the nose to be serious and when the worst people in the show are the ones saying them, it highlights that these overly woke people have skeletons in their closet.
Alternatively, you can take it at face value and not ironic whatsoever. In which case you could say "Well he's a stalker/murderer but at least he's not racist". Although that's way too silly but I imagine a lot of women who watch the show genuinely think like that.
In turn, it's appealing to both sides because both can make excuses for why it's actually "more clever than it lets on".
