What went wrong?
WHY DID IT FLOP?
Nobody gives a shit about Thor without his Hammer and some nigger wit a nose.
one does not simply recast a franchise
Hmmm
It was just incredibly average. The foreshadowed the HUGE TWIST way too much, the comedy was pretty stale, and it didn't do anything new at all with the Men in Black. Additionally, the other two sequels each had a heartwarming tale to tell, while this one had nothing.
It was basically the MIB cartoon, in movie form.
Don't insult the MIB cartoon you son of a bitch.
No one asked for it.
This smug, ugly, unlikeable bitch
If you're going to put a mulatto diversity quota in a movie you're raping for no reason other than cynical cash grabbing and "look at another beloved franchise we've jewed", at least make it a sexy one
this
>Star of the series has always been black
>Make the new star LESS BLACK
>'Muh diversity hire!"
Do you ever listen to yourself talk?
based
>Star of the series has always been black
Lol, Tommy Lee Jones isn't black
there is something deeply unpleasant about her face.
I think it might be the shade of her skin.
Agreed.
Some idiot execs thought that her ugly mug could be a selling point on a poster.
Hell if you read the leaked emails, ALL Sony execs were a bunch of idiots anyway
only the first MIB was ever good
She'd come off a series of successful movies, including one with Chris Hemsworth. I'm not saying she's great, but the thought process wasn't entirely without merit.
There's too much of it.
Throwing out Agent L offscreen was probably the biggest sin of MiB2
Perfect schlock film. I use it as background noise when I relax and play games at my computer after work. Got that movie, Wild Wild West, Equillibium, The Mummy, and the other two MIB movies in my que. Love it.
they literally didn't care at all, they retconned stuff and it wasn't even funny or interesting
movies where she wasnt the main star and a successful series where she shows up half way thru
Exactly, they thought it was time for her to be a star and that she could carry a film. They over-estimated her and it didn't work.
Why didn’t they cast Zoe instead of this goblina?
Retconned what
it's sad seeing how good the first MiB was and now this
>agent k got the best ending he could ever wanted
>passing the mantle to agent j to start a promising new era of mib
MIB was one of those movies that didn't need any direct sequel, just like robocop
