Nope.

Yup.

Bullseye should have died.

I know we're supposed to have a hate boner for netflix because reasons, but you've taken it too far.

Dogshit taste.

Netflix series was edgelord cringe shit, but this movie was pretty awful. Could jave been decent it was focused on Daredevil vs Kingpin, all the shit with Elektra and Bullseye was unnecessary and turned it into a mess.

WAKE ME UP

How was it edgelord?

I was being hyperbolic but I found it too dark and tryhard, ever since Chris Nolan made his stupid Batman films people try to make superheroes serious and it's pure cringe. These are stories about guys who dreas up in silly costumes to fight crime, it will never be something anyone with a brain can take seriously.

To be fair, Daredevil definitely took it to another level compared to Nolan just because the entire costume design was all about practicality of stunts. The practicality took precedence over style. Sure, it still wasn't realistic, actors needed like 2 people to help put on the suit, but Charlie Cox reportedly called it extremely comfy to pull stunts in.

While Nolan's batman couldn't turn his neck until 2008.

SAVE ME

Why did this song became such a meme?

Director's cut, maybe. Sure, it still has the park scene and the Evanescence songs, but the plot gets a lot better with the added scenes and they actually nail the Kingpin with court stuff instead of setting it aside for more blondie sideplots and relationship drama

Garner was def a better Electra than the Netflix ugly toothpick

rancid taco shits are better than netflix marvel so not a high bar

Remember: Daredevil squirted flammable material on the ground as a calling card, which would only work on the off-chance someone would commit arson at a crime scene.

>Film has a training scene set to "Bring Me To Life"
>Completely unironic
I was in such disbelief that I legitmately thought this was supposed to be a parody movie.

>Evanescense
>Daredevil kills without remorse
>Terrible acting
>Bullseye being a saturday morning cartoon character
How is anyone supposed to take this movie seriously?

it's not supposed to, it's a fucking comic book film

I don't remember him killing anyone

why would you want to take it seriously?
do you take capeshit seriously?

At least he actually wore the suit. The problem with the Netflix series’ is that the heroes take forever to look anywhere near their iconic costumes, and when they finally do it’s only for an episode or two before spending the rest of the series never wearing it again. It was even worse for Iron Fist because he didn’t even try.

It was a superhero movie from the early 2000s. Even Blade got campy.

I agree. Netflix had too much focus on side characters (Karen Page) and went with what ever characterization that fit their edgy bullshit.

Season one: Matt tortures criminals and enjoys it.
Season two: He suddenly becomes a believer in redemption just so he could be a foil to the punisher

Also in season two: he becomes an apathetic asshole so Karen can have screen time with Frank yet at the end, Frank somehow is friendly to Matt in a way that took decades to build in the comics after matt abandoned his case.

also try watching Trial of the Hulk.

Retroactive contempt. It was fire in the early 2000's.

It was bad but casting micheal clark duncan as kingpin was kino

>Daredevil kills without remorse

You need to watch the movie again.

He did at the beginning of the movie.

Everyone would fall over in that perspective.

And his entire character arc was about realizing that is wrong.

No.

Daredevil has been a dark edgy series since the early 80s.

Only because of this kino:

And look how that turned out for the catholics in south america.

Remember kids: Don't just kill your enemies, kill their entire lineage. Only then will you have the kingdom of god on earth.

The guy he killed remains a nameless thug. He wasn't mentioned or mourned and it didn't need to happen to support the story. You can't show him like this and them have him jump on a high-horse later.

i wanted to see more of the bullseye from the show
the actor was so good he fuckin stole season 3

Bullseye is probably a perfect villain, Colin Farrell was just having fun and didn't give a shit about the rest of the shity characters

>It was better than the Netflix series.

>Good
Better and more accurated suit
More accurated powers

>BAD
Elektra miscast and terrible suit
Awful history
Miscast Kingpin

>Conclusion
We haven't seen the best and faithful Daredevil and Elektra from comics

Woah there, buddy.
The Kingpin cast was great, maybe not canon colour but MCD pulled that shit off amazingly.

yeap
also this. the netflix show had way too much filler drama that was pointless. plus the karen and the cuck lawyer friend were so annoying to watch the actor that played kingpin carried that show too hard

Say what you want but Cox is a great actor, and Karen is a qt, so there's that at least.
