Blah blah blah popular thing bad whatever
was there any chance that it could have worked or is clay too far gone
who was in the wrong here?
you for watching
It was never popular. It's getting traction now because it's on HBO Max
who are you to decide that retard? everyone on Yea Forums knows about this show, you're just a fucking newfag it seems
i was reminded of it after youtube starting recommending it to me
Clay is so fascinatingly pathetic. He really believes that all his problems are someone else’s fault. I wonder how different Orel’s life would have been if he had just been raised by his grandad.
Orel turned out fine, who the fuck cares
>misery porn
>it’s okay to abuse your kids as long as they move past it in the future
I've never really got the whole Clay and Stopframe thing, for the whole show Stopframe was actively enabling Clay's awful behavior and didn't seem to care he was a piece of shit, what was it that finally made him realize Clay wasn't worth it in the end? Feels kind of strange to go with Orel being the lynchpin there.
>We should go
yes? what else is Orel supposed to do?
shitpost on a vietnamese basket weaving forum like you?
get over our shitty alcoholic dad already
>This
>is
>RAPE
>the one moral orel episode where orel browses /pol/
why is everyone ignoring clay's affair with censordoll
It's not misery porn though, it's healing porn. The best episode of the series is the one where the nurse meets her son and gets the closest thing to a happy ending of any character in the show.
Orel's too white to go on /pol/
Because it was the last thing that happened before the show got canned.
You misunderstood me friend, that’s the next line
>I miss you

>I need you in my life

youtu.be
and? it still happened
Oh ok never mind fren
Didn't Clay accuse Stopframe of molesting Orel? Stopframe just saw how pathetic Clay really was.
what board would orel go on ?
I interpreted the "rape" comments as Clay shifting the blame for his shitty parenting onto Stopframe like he did in the bar to the others.
bloberta for emotionally manipulating a man into associating her actions are caring and not possessive
all because she was too hasty to rush into a long term relationship
Rewatch the last episode, Honor. He gives up on Clay when he sees him kissing Censordoll. He completely loses interest after Clay accuses him of raping Orel.
Yea Forums has a lot of religious discussions
Here to post his stop motions
and /toy/
Yeah but considering Stopframe literally fucked Bloberta just to get closer to Clay, kissing Censordoll bothering him feels very incongruent.
>orel goes on Yea Forums to learn about god
>gets really into oswald spengler
damn you're an idiot
That's not an answer.
No need to be rude
I think it fits his character, because he’s inherently flip-floppy (just look at how he views religion). He probably justified sleeping with Bloberta to himself because he did it “for Clay.”
yes it's an answer, you really think someone that cucked someone thinks it's okay to get cucked himself? he knew bloberta and clay didn't like each other much
Literally everything terrible that Clay does after a point is directly Blobertta's fault. She got him into drinking, she tricked him into getting married, she took advantage of his innocent nature, and she hated him for it, and he knew she hated him for it. She cheated on him with Stopframe first and had a bastard son with the man and then insulted Clay for suspecting infidelity. The man was fragile to begin with and she mangled any chance of redemption he could have had the second she made him drink despite his protests.
>Literally everything terrible that Clay does after a point is directly Blobertta's fault.
It’s a bit too simplistic to say it was her fault. He was a grown man and capable of making his own choices.
Not if she tricked him into matramony. Not if she tricked him into raising kids he didn't want and knew that he wouldn't simply divorce her over. Not when she herself also enabled and pushed him to his worst possible trajectory. I don't know why no one points out how evil Blobertta was to twist some weirdo christian man with a bit of an ego into this twisted, fucked up little gremlin that hates everything but I noticed. She was the real villain in that town and Clay is a monster NOW sure, but it was her that crafted and molded him into one, and she won't do anything to stop his negative behavior and she won't leave him because she still wants to have this fucked up freak for a husband because that's all she ever wanted. She is just as responsible for his fuck ups as he is and there's no two ways about that.
Bloberta put clay in the dark path and didn't give him any easy outs. Clay would still be the pathetic brat he is now but his actions wouldn't have been as drastic as they are now.
>haha the dumb nurse is neutral to getting fucked constantly
>she’s actually extremely vulnerable and hates being used by men but tolerates it
>despite being fucked in the head she’s one of the best parents on the show
Best girl?
And she also told him to beat Orel
Just finished the whole series. Why is Orel so pure?
was he a bottom or top?
I don't know why but it bothers me that this show got popular out of nowhere, I liked it when it was this obscure thing only animation fans knew about.
Daniel is part of the cause of Clay's insecurity about himself; about not being manly enough and how some alpha male bed the wife he despises which translates into internalised homophobia which translates into all those teasings and hints of a relationship with no intention of commitment or action which is why Daniel breaks down over Clay making out with Censordoll. I think
you sound like an insufferable faggot, also Orel never was that obscure, I've seen zoomers draw fanart of this show for years now
Everyone tries, and everyone except Orel fails miserably.
Humans just be like that sometimes. At least the writers weren't fucking cynics about it.
>you sound like an insufferable faggot
calm the fuck down
>Orel never was that obscure
it was extremely obscure, I watched it a few years ago and the episodes on yt barely had 10k views
>I don't know why but it bothers me that this show got popular
You weren't bullied enough in grade school.
shut the fuck up already
i get now why it bothers me, it's because it attracts these people
It's kind of fucked how Stop Frame is almost if not just as bad as Clay, yet it's almost framed in the last scene that he has the moral high ground when he does not. He never seems to suffer for what he has done. Which is fine I guess. I hate it when people demand that every bad character be punished. But it bothers me how people tend to forget how bad of a person Stop Frame is. The last scene is just two bad people realizing where their relationship stands. And it's a good scene but they are both really bad people.
Has this show gained popularity recently? I remember it was pretty big on tumblr about ten years ago
Have you seen the special called, "Before Orel"? The last line the grandpa says kind of explains Orel really well.
>Has this show gained popularity recently?
youtube started recommending clips, like with 9th-grade ninja. I wonder what's the next thing that's going to get popular thanks to the algorithm.
This show was popular online way before streaming even existed but ok lol
I dunno
post more cute and maybe
morel
This is fucking disgusting
