So you're telling me that out of thousands of mutants on Krakoa not one of them has tried to spill the beans on Krakoan resurrection to the rest of humanity? Not even Orchis knows about it?

Jean gave everyone a mental trigger that makes you only able to think about sucking cock if you even consider spilling the beans.

Orchis definitely knows about it

They've built their own stockpile of Adamantium from all of the Wolverine corpses that Krakoa has sent to kill them
They built their own evil Quire out of some dead Kid Omegas too
And they have Nightcrawler's corpse on display on their Phobos base

They're keeping it secret for now because they're waiting to release the information to the public at the most inopportune time for Mutants, hoping the knowledge will draw more of humanity to Orchis

My guess is that going through the gates automatically gives every mutant full understanding about the Resurrection Protocols and a post hypnotic suggestion convincing them not to reveal it to non-Krakoans

We already know that going through the gates the first time gives a download of the Krakoan alphabet and language go every mutant.
And we know that the X-Men who confronted the depowered Femme Fatales about their new solution to M-Day and just told them to go through the gates
And Franklin hasn't told his family about resurrection for some reason

>Orchis definitely knows about it
They way they talk they have only begun to puzzle it out and don't know any of the details. No one just told them.

A good way to fix what is currently a pretty big plot hole.

Yeah, they just know that mutants can resurrect by mutant means, but they don't know which power sets they use for it.

Well Moira's gotten in contact with them and she's really pissed at mutants
So pretty soon they'll know for sure

Plus preview pages of Judgment War show that someone is going to be assassinating the Five, we've already seen Goldballs's corpse

Newest Wolverine planted the plot seed that Orchis or some other organization will figure out their own way to resurrect people (Sinister pretty much already had his own method).

We'll probably see the end of resurrection pretty soon.

Orchid knows, main X-Men series by Duggan had someone figure it out by killing Cyclops publicly, Ben Ulrich the journalists figured it out but had a mind wipe.

Orchis knows mutants can come back to life, but that's about it. They don't know about the Five.

Yes and? The OP isn't specific about details

you got xavier, jean grey and emma frost walking around.
who all have no issue with mind raping people

>Excalibur
Betsy is too angry all the time now.
Where is the posh cool psychic chick I love?

Why doesn't Orchis recruit the Jackal? With his cloning tech, they're almost there. Recruiting Octavius might work too but I don't think he'll be interested in joining.

>They built their own evil Quire out of some dead Kid Omegas too
>evil Quire
isn't that just regular Quentin

who the fuck is orchis?

The main antagonist organization the X-men have been fighting since HoX/PoX.

yeah, i don't know what that is

>thousands of mutants
More like hundreds of thousands. But they won't because that would be bad, and Mutants can't be bad anymore.

an organization formed to respond to the mutant demographic explosion, composed of assets from SHIELD, HYDRA, AIM, HAMMER, and others.

so a bunch of normies
i'm so scared

the people with casual super strength and rapid healing are so fucked

Thematically the successor to Friends of Humanity as the "Anti-mutant" group.

Organizationally, a collection of the cast-offs of organizations of various organizations who either are scientists who want to protect humanity from the growing society of supremacist superhumans or extremists want to stomp a mudhole in mutants, all being used as pawns by what's essentially the next generation of Sentinel to prevent mutants from achieving apotheosis and exterminating machines in the process

In terms of actual effectiveness and scariness, a shockingly inferior inheritor to the Friends of Humanity that has seen all their plans fail but still dominant enough that the X-men inexplicably can't take down (seriously, they have a collection of wolverine skeletons from how many times the X-men sent him in only to die), and who are only still around because the X-men need a new oppressor to struggle against now that they basically corralled all the mutants into one big ol' happy dysfunctional brady bunch

XENO seems to have a level of master over cloning and genetics that it would seem trivial to make the extra leap to reprogramming the clones memories to effectively resurrect a person. Orchis already has the capability of copying a person's memories into a robot body (Nimrod). Probably done in many other cases as well since it's a common comic book trope.

A silly organization supposedly composed of the best and brightest humans with insane tech capabilities intent on eventually exterminating all mutants yet is not on the radar of The Avengers at all.

>yet is not on the radar of The Avengers at all.
I wanna clown Tony for this, but goddamn all the mutants had to do was say that crazy ass scientists were making housing on their leftover projects.

I am not intimidated at all. They look like a bunch of tryhard edgy jokers. I've read fanfic that made characters far more believable in regards to taking on mutants by simple character interactions.

Hell, the MC who is broken as fuck gets almost killed by his powerless best friend in the span of a few seconds. I'd buy some guy in regular clothes with a gun in his hand, a grenade on his belt, and maybe a knife as more capable than any of these wetfarts.

you really don't know who fucking Nimrod is? He's the most powerful robot in the universe (excepting a Phalanx black hole)

Attached: Nimrod.jpg (717x440, 36.09K)

Well, James Hudson did say that he was going to snitch on them to Department H although nothing will come out of it and he probably knows that too. If he wants something to be done he should tell the Avengers and the Fantastic Four.

i know who nimrod is, it's everyone else
he's also just standing there like a statue

Can anyone actually follow what the fuck is going on in Excalibur?

Why would they be? The mutants are the one keeping Orchis a secret from everybody else. If Orchis makes things worse for everybody else in the course of trying to deal with mutants, it's their fault for not requesting assistance. Of course, a cunt like Emma would just say that the Avengers didn't care enough to sniff out the organization themselves because they don't care about mutants or whatever, in the event things with Orchis get far worse.

>He's the most powerful robot in the universe
Uh-huh

Attached: 2042019-ultron.jpg (722x1024, 146.76K)

I love Ultron and if he lasted until the time from which the original Nimrod came from he would be a match, but not currently. Rage of Ultron era is starting to get to Nimrod level though.

It's preposterous to think the Avengers don't know about Orchis's space station and wouldn't see them trying to make a super-sized mother mold that makes master molds.

Yeah, Nimrod is strong but there are some stupid-powerful robots running around in Marvel.

Abigail Brand is also one of Orchis' head honchos now, so they definitely know about it.

She's playing them. She's a good guy deep down.

To be frank, it's real damn obvious that the only reason that the organization hasn't been wrecked beyond belief already besides plot armor is Nimrod, and to a lesser extent Omega Sentinel. They're literally the only people in their entire organization who can fight on the X-men's level, which is why seeing the X-men struggle to deal with them is fucking hilarious.

Look at this shit. They got Magneto to try to throw their space station into the sun, and he somehow fucks it up. That's how you know Orchis is a clown show run by robots who are just laughing at the shitshow performed by their human allies while they do the real work

Nah, Nimrod isn't really strong more or less the X-men are not very competent. Ultron has hit way higher stuff than Nimrod.

Muties colonizing Avalon while claiming to be oppressed or some shit. Also, magic bullshit is involved.

Betsy spent 20ish issues being shit at her new job and now everyone she's supposed to protect hates her and mutants because of that. Serves her right honestly.

You realize that this is Tony you're talking about right?

jesus fucking christ
what's even the point of the x-men anymore?

nothing about Krakoa makes any sense, all the concepts are half-assed by talentless writers who don't have any actual education or real life experiences to pull from besides twitter/tumblr

She's playing both sides, because the only team she cares about it team Sol. Her scope is so wide she sees both Krakoa and Orchis as minor and disposable for the sake of the solar system.

Other examples of Tony's lack of attention?

>can take down interstellar empires
>turned himself into a fucking moon
>yo, but this robot that absorbs powers and can kill Domino and Wolverine is totally the greatest AI threat to mutants ever
It's a symptom of the disconnect between the X-Men and the Marvel universe as a whole. Their office keeps writing up these individuals and organizations that should be on everybody's radar from their actions alone, yet the other heroes are somehow oblivious to them for reasons. Instead of saying that they built a base on Tony's Dyson Sphere, they could have just said they developed it in secret well before they were even aware through super secret funding.
Or it just means that the tech they developed is just that busted. They are operating on seized Stark tech, as well as a bunch of other super tech from multiple organizations that play around with that stuff all the time. I think it's just the mutants massively overstating their power in relation to something more mundane and technologically based.

It's all poorly written shit anyways, pretty much just spinning the wheels to give the X-Men a bad guy to focus on and point their fingers at to say they're being targeted for extermination, which rings hollow when all we've been watching them doing is give humanity very legitimate reasons to fear and hate them.

I haven't seen anything to indicate that mutants want to colonize Avalon other than Monarch becoming the ruler and Betsy being Captain Britain. No mutant would want to move there since if you die there you can't be properly resurrected.

It's even more ridiculous that they don't have the mutant telepaths perform a telepathic scan of everyone that enters/leaves the island to ensure there are no spies/traitors among them.

Yeah you basically have to consider the X stuff and Avengers stuff to be separate universes except when they aren't. Otherwise the X-men would be paranoid about Ultron, not Nimrod.

Anyone else think the Marvel universe is getting too technologically advanced to the point it's harming the ability to tell stories?

>He's the most powerful robot in the universe
He isn't even the most powerful robot existing in present day Earth despite being create from tech from the future.

Attached: 1647070474518.jpg (1600x1237, 447.48K)

nah
their writing's just retarded

It's hilarious that an organization has ex-AIM & ex-HYDRA members hasn't collapsed on itself. It's amazing that they haven't hijacked any of the tech yet.

If anything, they are downplaying the technology possessed by intergalactic empires like the Kree, Skrulls, and Shi-ar while wanking off to Earth's primitive technology.

The problem isn't the in-universe technology getting too advanced, the problem is Marvel insisting that 616 always has to somewhat resemble the real world while all these fantastical shit exist too. For 616 to make sense, Marvel should either go all out and fully embrace the high tech/ magical elements or keep it all consistently grounded.
I think that it's too late for the latter which means that Marvel should finally let Reed Richards cure cancer and raise the tech and living standards of humanity.

Can you prove Nimrod can actually raise his arms? I don't remember him doing anything other than floating forward and lasers.

It isn't, their lack of creativity stifles its ability to tell stories, it's also Marvel's obsession with making things fantastical while trying to keep it mundane at the same time. This means that Reed can mess around with dimension-hopping technology and cure cancer, and Stark can build Dyson Spheres, while the rest of humanity is stuck with smartphones, gas guzzlers, and is still concerned about energy issues. The general lack of consistency just makes it more apparent.

Remember when Tony would go nuts & beat ass when someone used his tech for evil?

Has Apocalypse finally realized that being a good guy actually makes him more powerful in the long run?

What can the Shi-ar and Skrulls do that Earth can't?
