So. This is how you want the MCU to look?
So. This is how you want the MCU to look?
yes
>Purposefully made shitty suits any time they get even close to the source material
Marvel really fucking hates the own media it's based off of.
That's the best MCU Spider-Man has ever looked
Why does everyone hate the Cap suits? He hasn't changed. He is tactical without being tacticool
Yes. You're being disingenious, but the mcu would be better if they aimed to be more comic accurate. Also why include Spider-Man with these joke costumes? Especially when it blows his original mcu suit out of the water
a CGI puppet?
Aquaman and Deadpool proved that you can make it comic accurate and look better than MCU suits
Yes.
captcha: KAPNO (that's fucking hilarious although i really hate text captcha, seriously wtf what a shit idea
The only bad cap suit is the first Avengers one
Well, get the other guy back as Quicksilver, and make Vision's costume less deliberately-crap, and sure. Yes.
>Especially when it blows his original mcu suit out of the water
It really isn't that different
hell no
>Different kind of blue
>A sharper, larger spider symbol
>More defined webbing
>No stupid thick black lines breaking up the spider webbing
Lol It's actually really different and much better. Lol
>Biggest work of your life
>It's some child's comic from the 1960s
It is a mystery as to why pretentious LA writers would resent this.
Though it always makes me laugh that random cosplay sluts and pornographers can both look better and be more on model than a multi-million dollar Hollywood production.
>Aquaman and Deadpool proved that you can make it comic accurate and look better than MCU suits
THIS
THE DESIGNS AREN'T THE PROBLEM IT'S THE GOD DAMN FUCKING MATERIALS!
I’d actually like a retro style capeshit show. Like Batman Brave and the Bold but live action.
>we will never get a 1960s/70s Iron Man show with corporate espionage and stuff
This. OP's pic was the best MCU Wanda ever looked, all they had to do was remake that costume with better materials, instead of making her final costume follow the same generic MCU aesthetic as everything else.
That child's comic makes them millions. They could at least pretend enough to give a damn about the designs.
Why do you act like the MCU doesn't care? These are pretty faithful adaptations for live action
If you're an LA writer, then you're already worth less than Bob the plumber. They should feel honored to get work writing an episode of the Teletubbies, let alone a multi million dollar capeshit IP.
A lot of people in the film industry loved comics growing up but they aren't the ones working on the MCU. I think you have a lot of pretentious tv writers thinking they're better than they are working there.
If you had someone like a Martin Scorsese making a comic book movie he'd embrace the fact they used to be made for kids and you'd get all the classic costumes and color. George Lucas always said Star Wars was for kids but that didn't stop adults from liking it. I'd take that approach. The designs of the MCU do try too hard to by grounded and tacticool a lot. They've moved away from that a little but I'm sick of Andy Park's cookie cutter designs for characters in all corners of the universe.
Wrong. Up till Avengers they kind of tried. Iron Man 2 & 3 dramatically changed the villains though. Since then they only kept making more dramatic changes not only in the costumes but in the villains & the character progression. Or lack thereof for characters like Thor.
>That one time they took a costume that was already grounded in reality and made it comic booky bullshit for no discernable reason
What the fuck were they thinking?
I like them. Love him.
Liked them. Sex with wanda.
They look like mego dolls and i love it
It's basically Bane all over again.
The irony is that Avengers Cap was pretty much what people were asking for with these arguments and surprise, they hated it. Endgame Cap remains his best suit
Did they reused the gloves for shocker
This is literally what Yea Forums is asking for in costumes yet they claim to hate it
Yes, they talk about how they picked them up from Lagos. Modified them with alien tech to make shockwaves after that I guess
Where's the scales?
I loved Avenger Cap. The problems were the overdesign elements.
That's how the suits look though. That's the OG look you wanted
Spiderman being so different from the rest while still actually looking good and comic accurate proves you wrong but you already knew the claim was bullshit
>2 irrelevant characters
>the only guy in full cgi looking different
You really showed me
>The irony is that Avengers Cap was pretty much what people were asking for with these arguments
I wanted something like this. The Avengers 2012 suit isn't anywhere like it. The later suits always felt like Nolan Batsuits repainted with cap colors, too.
Like all the main suits are touched up with CGI. If you need CGI to do it, sure, thats fine.
Those robinhood boots are kinda retard though
People with super durability don't count, they can wear whatever they want
The CGI was primarily for the action scenes though
They literally swing him around in the suit sometimes
Half the characters in the OP don't need or wear armor either.
Richard E Grant was the best Loki.
Uhuh. Sure
Sort of. Now just cast young, attractive people and include more comic accurate female costumes and we're there.
This only applies to vision
Unironically he looks better without the CGI
AND its comicbook accurate
Same with Brandon Routh’s Kingdom Come Superman
The Endgame suit has scales.
Yeah, only this time the CGI puppet has a good outfit.
>blue lines
Um no sweaty it's shit.
But he's not supposed to have scales, that's recent. He's supposed to wear a chainmail shirt.
Buccaneer boots, and they’re great.
But his older outfits had those too.
People praise the Homecoming suit but he literally needed to copy Maguire and Garfield's suits and they built theirs from scratch while looking more sophisticated.
Also the exposed fingers would conflict with his secret identity since he's one of the few MCU heroes who still has one.
I think it was said back then it was a chain shirt, that's just how it was drawn, instead of detailed rings.
I remember an user saying he just figured the costume was over the armor, which is why it looked like that.
That some bitch-ass guy running around in a basic suit with little armor would look ridiculous compared to Cap? I like this more than his canonical look.
I was glad they made classic Thor look unironically cool. His Ravager outfit is based too. Hope the movie is good.
