>ok so after watching the panel all the way through, here's what I got from em (can't specify each person who said stuff nor is this in chronological order):
-there was a skit where the plantars visited the gallery and they talked with the crew and it ends with them running away, thinking they were cultists.
-regarding spinoff ideas, Croaker's agent days, Polly's adventures, and Sprig's adventures pre-Amphibia were things they liked.
-purple theory had a big dent considering how Anne was a factor in it and her outfits were more or less done for aesthetic and consistency.
-the team had problems during the pandemic (we've seen this before but it was told as well). For Matt, it was specifically due to how there was an obstacle in deliberation and talking about the episode production themselves.
-at the earliest stage of development, Matt mentioned OTGW-style as a one-season show so Grime could've very much been the final antagonist at that point.
-Hop Pop was originally supposed to be more of a sourpuss due to the danger.
-The show was supposed to be much darker, with the palette being mostly brown.
-The Plantar house originally did not have a city near it, implying that Wartwood was supposed to be a wee bit farther.
-Hop Pop said "Grime, I love you".
-Matt and the VAs were asked about which emotional scene stood out to them. Excluding the finale, the Reunion hug at the top of the tower, the Hopping Mall parents scene, Sprig falling in TC, and Hop Pop's scenes during the zapapedes in Taking Charge were mentioned.
-Matt wants the biggest takeaway from the show for the fans to be about how it was always Anne's journey and the plantars.
-Regarding Sasha and Marcy's life pre-Amphibia (including dynamics), Matt said to just wait, other than the decision of having the story focus on Anne.
-other show-related easter eggs that were cut will be discussed by Matt after the show ends.

-deliberation for TC&TK knew full well about the implication of imperialism and how that was presented in the show.
-The Core, other than representing greed and corruption, is also an opposing figure for the show's grand theme of change, in which it lives to preserve the past.
-the weird dancing bunny thing called Bibsy in that one 3a ep was the crew's own version of mickey mouse that they inserted as easter eggs
-there was a pitch regarding the ending of If You Give A Frog A Cookie, where Dr. Frakes was transported to a world called Marsupia (Matt went for a hard no on this).
-Amanda Leighton had this weird thing she would climb on for recordings and it fell on Eden Riegel one time.
-the crew talked about their background relating to their current job and how they fell in love with said job.
-the crew talked about which of their other roles would mingle well with their characters on the show.
-the crew talked about the traits that show to them whenever they're playing their roles.
-when it comes to merch, Matt says that he would like to see action figures.

-regarding the length of certain episodes that weren't 22 minutes but people felt like needed to be, Matt said that he generally wanted to stay within those limitations.
-Matt would've wanted an episode where Bessie "talked", and he wanted to make a joke about her but it was a finale spoiler.
-Regarding the stab, Matt was asked about if Andrias thought of the scene in TC&TK where he was chasing Leif with his sword. The answer was "definitely" on all seats.
-The conception of Super Saiyanne was, unsurprisingly, due to the heavy influence in dragonball and miyazaki in which he felt that it was natural and awesome.
-Regarding improvised lines, they pointed out Whoopi's dialogue and Anna Akana's lines when playing Heartstomper. For the latter, they wanted her to "sound like they're playing in a garage band".
-Eden Riegel, the voice director of the show, uses Matt's style of comedy as a part of the direction.
-There's no episode that Matt would cut, edit, etc.
