I think Sonic was to rev up for Ace 3, which will follow more closely in tone to Ace 1 than the cornier, mainstream Ace 2. The premise sees Ace getting out of retirement, so it will address age and is rumored to be darker and set again in Miami. With the right director this could be kino. If rather see Safdie Brothers do Ace 3 than Peewee Herman 4, or someone like Todd Phillips. The character has a lot of tropical noir potential and the audience matured
