These Nolan movies are shit!

Balding, bearded, bespectacled, big-bellied, cargo-short wearing, soi-mouthed, graphic-T buying millennials simply cannot let Nolan go, TDK being the artistic peak of the human race is the hill they are willing to die on

Super Anarchist yet plans to to perfection a bank robbery leaving absolutely nothing to chance, not even the gap in the school buses...

Schumacher's Batman films were visually interesting, but little more than that.

Yes they do. These old movies look so fake, it’s not even funny how little they cared.
Nolan was an improvement visually, but also a plain blank screen would have been an improvement visually

You can just feel the lack of effort in those screenshots. Geeze, I can’t believe such a terrible movie was allowed to come out

Attached: Batman and Robin.jpg (424x647, 151.88K)

Such is life when you have to make props of things which dont exist. Better than CGI trash and will age better. Even for the non-creative stuff the films still look better.

Don't watch any old movie if you cant handle it. Your pic doesnt even prove your point, even though I know you tried.

You'll be that way with the Batman too, zoomer.

Man are you high or something? Lots of old movies have practical effects that look great. Batman And Robin looks like cheap rubber because it was made by people who don’t care

Millennials grew up with Burton and Schumacher Batman, dumb Zoomer.

Hell, this entire chase scene in The Dark Knight is practical effects, no cgi used at all. Because it was made by people who care, it doesn’t look like a bunch of cheap garbage like Batman And Robin

Yeah, it looks worse.

Takes a lot more dedication, time, effort, fabrication, and design to make something than to blow something up.

Especially when it's something creative. Which that is not. Just low IQ explosions.

I don't see The Batmanfags treating their movie as a pinnacle of cinema. Nolanfags were doing just that in 2008.
All of Nolan's action scenes look like cheap garbage.

Because you're not in youth spaces anymore

Is this thread supposed to be a troll? Who on earth likes this cheap soulless plastic garbage?

Various cinema sites are "youth spaces" now?

No boomer

No I mean shit like twitter or better yet, real life. No wonder if you were hanging around high schoolers when those movies came out you got the impression millennials thought they were an artistic peak. Teenagers generally talk in extremes like that. I know 17 year olds came out of The Batman thinking it was a cinematic masterpiece.

Just the first opening 10 seconds of Batman Forever grabbing gear is more beautifully designed, more creative, and better shot than the whole 2 1/2 hours of a Nolan movie.

Unironically

Why do old movies look so much more visually pleasing than modern-day mess of ugly filters and CGI?
Recently watched 1999 Virus for the first time by the way it's a comic book movie, so I'm not offtopic here for the first time and it had more atmosphere just on visuals alone than shit we get nowadays.

You talking about the scene with Batman’s jiggling rubber ass? Um, no thanks

Soul Vs. Soulless

That's very very oddly specific of you... you sound closeted. Yes human bodies will move when they move. Usually is the case when a character isnt covered in shameful tacticool.

Previous movie: You will have costumes. You will see them. They will be revealed in light.

Nolan: No no no! Don't even show the costumes. Especially don't even have fight scenes. Just uh, have him blow things up and use jump cuts.

Attached: image (10).png (2400x2160, 2.27M)

>grounded batman and gotham
Absolute cringe desu for both live action and comics

Don’t blame me for pointing it out, I didn’t make the movie. In a movie you can show whatever you want, and gay director Joel Schumacher decided to show a zoomed in closeup of Batman’s jiggling rubber ass. Personally, I’m not a fan, but if you like it to each their own

Attached: webBADARTCOMICFIXED.jpg (493x930, 163.83K)

No one really argued that Nolan's movies looked better/had better aesthetics than Burton's and Schumacher's.
We argued that Nolan's movies were good and that the Burton and Schumacher ones are bad.
>In the 90's the Batman movies had the same reputation as Bayformers.

Some bizarre obsession you have. Especially since the women had the same shots. It must suck watching a movie where you'll be afraid of getting a boner looking at dudes unlike most guys.

Glad you posted a pic representing Nolans artless films.

You could say “I don’t like the costumes,” you could say “I don’t like the direction,” but why would you say “the costumes are never shown in direct light”? Why would you make false claims about a movie everyone here has watched?
Like, if you do not like it that’s one thing. But why would you claim the costumes are never shown in light? They are. In fact it’s one of the biggest scenes in the movie.
It’s like ten straight minutes of Batman and the Joker in a bright, evenly-lit, interrogation room

Attached: Batman Joker.jpg (1333x2000, 283.99K)

is this a real location?

What an odd thing to say.
So you like Batman’s jiggling rubber ass, and that’s not gay. But disliking Batman’s jiggling rubber as is gay.
I guess when your father enthusiastically sucked my dick, that wasn’t gay; but when your mother did the same thing it was

Sharktalefag?

chicago museum of art I think

That's a promo photograph. He was shown hardly as much as in the older movies especially in his entirety, lets not pretend otherwise.

You're definitely kidding at this point, right? Half the problem with Schumacher's direction is that everything is either shrouded in darkness or completely washed out with one bright neon colour that floods the scene
Hell, in Batman Forever Robin's got a great costume with nice colours but you wouldn't fucking know it in the movie since he's only seen wearing it in the dark shadows of the Batcave and then on Riddler's neon green island

so like the flare scene from the new one? because that was one of the best shots in the whole movie

>Mad and gay seething

>Shumfags on suicide watch

Attached: batnips.jpg (2132x1034, 312.5K)

There’s a lot to criticize about the interrogation scene. Batman’s voice is kinda silly, the dinky chair that somehow stops all the cops from entering…
Why would you claim that it doesn’t show the bat suit in direct light? It definitely, no question, absolutely does
This isn’t even a quality statement regarding the movies, this is simply an objective fact: Nolan does show the costumes in bright direct light

not only that, but in the batcave basement thingy, it was shown in direct light too

And in the scene where he finds Harvey’s coin in the wreckage
In Batman Begins during the Arkham Asylum sequence
The subway fight with Ras
Both fights with Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. Poorly choreographed, but you can’t claim they don’t show the costumes in direct light.

They show you the costumes in full and in detail. The lighting is part of the look. They put lots of work into them and wanted to show them off.

They also work very well with the backgrounds and scenes and are a part of them. So they all work in unison. In B&R they are shown in lighter environments. Even in that shot to get that look they have to work lighting all around it so its not as dark as you think.

>Such is life when you have to make props of things which dont exist.
ice doesnt exist?

Attached: CIA.gif (280x358, 2.53M)

And you were retarded because Burton is way better than Nolan.

The point is theyre not as well considered nor do they want to really display them for any length. And no the lighting and art direction isnt as good in the Schumacher movies.

The other movies the lighting is done in a very specific way while keeping a dark tone while still showing them. Just having a flash light or roof light isnt the same.

And having the costume in a prop stand in the cave in TDK without Bale in it or having the costume only be obscured and with jump cuts in Begins isnt a sign of confidence in the suit. Youre trying too hard now.

Attached: h2hrmy7bfa631.jpg (1920x3200, 517.79K)

No, retard. I was hanging around movie sites and have seen enough of nolanfag retards overhyping those shit flicks, don't even pretend only teenagers were sucking that shit off.

"Guy's well just freeze the entire studio set by throwing buckets of ice every where and make 9ft tall icicles inside room temperature setting, a totally possibe act"

Nolanfags are really this retarded they don't know they're watching a movie.

As good as in* the Schumacher movies.

tbf the choreo was never that great either, so begins tried to had that nobody knew how to fight

Mask of the Phantasm flexes on all of you, real life faggots. Animation is, undeniably, the superior medium for capeshit. For every good scene movies have, there's a dozen more in the cartoons, your fight scenes are a joke because actors are fragile sissies who can't move around with those heavy ass suits, composition relies on traditional Hollywood angles and is afraid to break the rules, and your music, my god, the music of these live action cashgrabs is at best remembered for a week, then promptly forgotten.

Attached: batlaugh.png (1009x768, 494.62K)

Ahem.
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker > Mask of Phantasm.
But both are better than live-action shit, I agree.

Lmao you fantastic take, user. I respect that
