IIRC Lupin doesn't really kill Not really his MO So he was probably the only one scene over the dead body or some misunderstanding like that
Charles Long
Wait, really? Lucky kid
Eli Nguyen
funniest thing about the whole Lupin series is how overpowered his crew is, to the point the cops are only allowed to go after Lupin, and only because he allows it. If they try to fuck with Jigen or Goemon, everybody dies.
>Holmes is voiced by Yong Yea How do you guys feel about that? Semes likemore internet personalitys are getting into the voicework business
>Sentai studios How the FUCK did they get the entire original cast for this? I thought sentai couldn't afford that kind of talent?
Isaac Davis
>Lupin froze time just to sexually intimidate a child
Ian Martin
t. filtered pleb
Thomas Hughes
NOTHING! As far as we know.
Hunter Wright
You can't beat perfection. But their relationship is on better terms since the last part, so it makes sense why it's so happy.
Robert Cooper
Are British people ever offended or annoyed by certain interpretations of Sherlock Holmes in media? Usually he's a pretty cool guy, but this one looks like a hobo
Brandon Brown
Yes. It happens at the end of one of the crossovers.
Austin Kelly
2nded
Josiah Brown
Only Zenigata knows how to keep Lupin chases nice and clean
Oliver Williams
>How do you guys feel about that? Semes likemore internet personalitys are getting into the voicework business Wait, seriously?
When watching Toonami, it's always important to have a proper, floating throne with accompanying minstrels. You DO have minstrels, right anons? You better because it's TIME FOR SKELETONS!
Yeah I believe so, the girl is The daughter of Watson's descendant
Justin Gutierrez
I noticed this as well. there are quite a few different names all drawing in the same style. disciples maybe?
Benjamin Watson
Emi Lo is the voice actor for Lily (watson)
Nicholas Roberts
>Yong Yea who?
Liam Flores
Garbage cuckold bullshit
Charles Ward
Why would they? And Japan has tons of weirder / gayer Sherlock interpretations. There was like a whole Sherlock Holmes fad over the last few years, just last year I think we had a Moriarty focused one.
Not really sure if the ED was reflective of Lupin and Fujiko's relationship, just styled after French romances, like how part 4's ED was like an Italian musical.
Benjamin Wilson
He only kills really evil people, assassins and such. And it can be justified that's harder/more fun for him to trick or incapacitate people.
Aiden King
I still can’t handle that episode. I wonder if I should still try.
Josiah Hall
2 more One Piece
Caleb Carter
Fuck, already? I don't think I'm ready to bawl my eyes out tonight....
Isaac Moore
Lupin sorta seems like a cunt
Anthony Morales
>I thought sentai couldn't afford that kind of talent? You thought they couldn't afford non-union actors? There's literally nothing cheaper.
Elijah Torres
I would prefer if this was Sherlock Holmes III. Would be kino if we could also get Philph Marlow III.
I will post my progress of catching up to One Piece up to the current Toonami Episode every week to motivate me to continue marathoning the great adventure that is One Piece!
>Currently at Episode 381 out of 544 >Last Week was Episode 330 out of 542 >Started at was Episode 117 out of 519 when One Piece Returned
This arc was an interesting one. Perona is really cute and I hope I get to see more of her. Brook grew on me really fast and might be my favorite Strawhat! That entire fight with Luffy's Shadow Zombie was slow and boring to be honest and was the first time this series made me disappointed, but it makes up for that with the Ending portion with Kuma and Brook's backstory!
I will not be watching OP on Toonami until I catch up, so this is it for me, so see you all next time!
In some shows/movies/OVAs, he is. Manga Lupin was totally ruthless, at least in the very early days of the comic before Monkey Punch just kind of went with the changes TMS applied during the early anime days.
>IIRC Lupin doesn't really kill You would be wrong. Lupin killed all the time in the manga, and the original green jacket series. They toned him down in subsequent incarnations, but they returned some of his original grittiness in the blue jacket seasons of Parts 4 and 5, where he and his crew were allowed to straight up murder people again.
Robert Howard
>didn't become Jesus at the end I'm still mad Kubo.
Easton Wilson
>Yong Yea I have seen this name before but I otherwise have no idea who this is.
Bentley Carter
>choose one But they're both the same person?
Samuel Wright
HE LOOKS LIKE HE FREES HUMAN MEN (and women from slavery)
neither. one is some kinda god and the other is pregnant with someone elses kid
Angel Hall
breasts > ass Someone mentioned it before but I also noticed Fujiko's voice. Then again I haven't watched Lupin since the last time it was on the block.
In the manga, he wasn't above hurting some innocent people, and raping women, though the creator toned down such stuff as time went on, giving Lupin some "gentlemanly" qualities.
Jaxson Ortiz
>Why would they? he's like the most famous British character in fiction. I assume Brits have some sort of pride about owning it, as he's a generally positive representation of their country
Nathan Gutierrez
Luffy is worse.
Isaiah Gray
It's one of those episodes I appreciate now that I'm older. The ending only gets better as you gain more life experience.
You can't laugh at the hijinks without embracing the sorrow.
Jack Anderson
Retcon of Luffy's powers with some really, really tenuous, dubious claims of foreshadowing by the most desperate fanboys. It's the sort of thing long time obsessive nerds cry bitch tears over but nobody else really cares.
Anthony Long
>51 episodes of Wan Piss in a week I would kill myself before willfully subjecting myself to that garbage.
Luffy's powers got an asspull, maybe foreshadowed (I doubt it) some fuckers are whining.
Dylan Fisher
He's an asshole, but he isn't wrong. Humans suck at every opportunity.
Jason Thomas
I thought the same as well.
Nicholas Cox
#NotAllHumans
Andrew Rodriguez
Honestly, I like that you can have such a wide range of Lupin. It's like how you can have so many different Batman takes ranging from Adam West to Frank Miller.
Pretty much. Lupin was one of the first adult-oriented manga characters. It was that fact that the first anime adaption had a rocky production because anime hadn't done much with such mature themes like killing, smoking, and all all that stuff.
Kevin Wilson
Yeah but he's also a shit too.
Ryder Garcia
Night Losers!!!
Nolan Sullivan
>maybe foreshadowed (I doubt it) In this series? Where things get foreshadowed decades in advance?
>How do you guys feel about that? Semes likemore internet personalitys are getting into the voicework business That sounds dope, I heard CDawgVA has done an anime or two too.
Non related, but does anyone here know what settings parts 1 to 3 of Lupin take place? I've only watched 4 to current part 6.
Austin Hughes
yeah it's especially funny here. As Joyboy is literally mentioned this arc.
Benjamin Peterson
Akane, she has oppai. Plus, I like short-haired girls more.
Nathan Edwards
He's the second in command's brother.
Easton Ramirez
why did any of these niggas ever trust arlong he sucks
Ryder Walker
based
James Miller
google dollter anime doll tab get a generic anime with right eyes wig can be anywhere i guess. dunno the name of thathairstyle tho
Isaac Perry
>hey, you know this ship we've been sailing in for all these years? >we should SINK IT! Who else but Arlong?
Cameron Carter
Wait One Piece isn’t dubbed up to at least Whole Cake Island yet?
Easton Kelly
he got caught up in a nigga moment
Asher Barnes
Yea, though it does seem like they won't ever go quite as far as the early manga tone, so no Lupin chopping off nipples or boinking a girl because he's horny. But it is still fun having the wacky stuff of Red Jacket in addition to the more darker stuff scene with Blue and Green jackets.
Floch was supporting a genocide of the entire planet for the sake of his homeland, Arlong is just a bitter, disillusioned bully who wants to take out his frustrations on people weaker than him since he lost his role model.
Tyler Rodriguez
The amount of money I would spend to track this doujin down and buy it.
David James
Goddamn, I haven’t heard that music in forever. Feels good.
The main plot of the first half is kind of weak. There are a few decent one off episodes though. The 2nd half's plot is a little better. If you mean visually, then not really. The animation was kind of mediocre for the whole part.
Joseph Reyes
Alright how is this about to turn from good to what the fuck man
Levi Gomez
More like Arlong did and Hachi just went along with it like everything.
Carter Barnes
...Wait a second, how fucking tall is Fisher Tiger?
Noah Butler
They took a year off but last I checked they were at Zou
Alexander Martin
That being said, Despite how ridiculously absurdly strong Luffy has gotten. He is still technically getting his shit pushed in.
Lupin III's first TV season was actually the first ever late night anime broadcast.
Ethan Hall
Pretty sure they're just starting. I know they're done with Dresserosa, or at least getting close since I've seen clips of stuff like Pica.
Jordan Hill
Part 1 takes place in generic snime land, Part 2 is World Wide, Part 3 is more James Bond/Cold War-esque. Only Part 4 started really focusing on one setting/country.
James Bell
>she's cute now, but after she goes to college, she'll come back as a fish hating bigot!
Isaac Anderson
His beard is cool and he had good taste in clothes.
