This show is such trash. Total neoliberal propaganda too. And Mike I think was correct in his hunch that they tortured that one character because the former actor had dared question liberalism.
>they tortured that one character because the former actor had dared question liberalism
For sure but I want to know if this Romulan dominatrix could break my bones.
Thats a romulan? Are we seriously going to things on that bullshit woke trash of a show "romulans" now?
I'm pretty sure Romulans are bioligically identical to Vulcans, they just took on a very different core philosophy / set of customs.
>I'm pretty sure Romulans are bioligically identical to Vulcans
They pretty much are, after Vulcans discovered logic, some rejected it so they slag'd off and became Romanians.
>le science and logic
Are Vulcans redditors?
imagine watching ST after jewjew trek
Fuque mi
Sucque mi
There was a bottleneck event of some sort that led to Romulans losing their innate telepathic abilities, while the Remans retained it.
Yes, they rejected Christianity so death in the lake of fire awaits them.
Vulcans are androids.
Looks like Tauriel
>no romulan neesan
Yes. However, her brother looks like such a sissy-ass soiboi that I doubt he is even as strong as a human.
Episode 6 was filled with so much Asian feet I had to cooom
He looks like Goofy.
Who cares? These are space elves. The creators of the show don't care about past lore, so why should it matter?
yes, because Romulans are Vulcans. Ya know how Surak gave Vulcan the "no emotions + logic" thing? When that happened a couple of thousand years ago, all the people who disagreed built some slower than light arkships and took off. Over time they lost their psi-powers, but kept everything else.
Yeah it was pretty obvious that was why they did that to that character. It cracks me up how many stronk poowoofool wimminz are in the show. It seems every episode they introduce 5 new ones. I stopped counting after 12.
How the fuck are there black Vulcans and Romulans?
Whites evolved as a response to unique migration patterns on Earth in our ancient past. How the fuck is Vulcan's history a copy of Earths continental arrangement and solar properties?
Vulcans should all be shades of the same color, considering how planet Vulcan is always depicted. Maybe there would be minor superficial variations from one region to the next.. but full on whites and black? No way.
Just more woke bullshit. as usual.
And fuck you Tuvok you shitty diversity hire Vulcan.
No. Unless you grow up on Vulcan you don't get Vulcan strength. They make it clear it's not just genetics but environment. Vulcan is basically hell compared to Earth or Romulus.
Star Trek is liberal? Bro, are you shitting me right now? For real? When did that happen? And how is it relevant to the question OP posted?
>neoliberal
You have no idea what this word means.
I remember reading that book. One of the best ones in that whole lineage.
>thirteen exile ships
>no warp drives, ships use a bootstrap shunt drive powered through psionics that causes brain damage
>no precision, just blind jumps
>three ships jump too close to a black hole event horizon
>can't bootstrap out again because of space-time distortion killing the jumpers when they try
>ships doomed to be slowly drawn into the singularity
>mind-bonded exiles attached to those on the doomed ships have to be put down as they all succumb to insanity
>two ships bootstrap and never reappear again
>three more ships lost in various misadventures or destroyed by hostile aliens
>only five ships reach Rihannsu system
who care
How the fuck are there white Vulcans or Romulans? Vulcan is known for its punishing heat and sun light. Use some basic logic before copy pasting your gripes about woke culture.
There is a black vulcan in Star trek 5. Also female. Cope.
>And fuck you Tuvok you shitty diversity hire Vulcan.
No, Tuvok was cool.
Fuck *this* shit though.
Picard is a train wreck but Rizzo at the bare minimum has a hint of Romulan's as seen in the tng era. Plus ass.
>dared question liberalism.
Stop defending Hollywood child rapists please.
No, Vulcans now have anime elf cat ears and are GoT "actor" models.
Here we go again. Round 864129 of zoomers who haven't watched TOS complaining about the sole good change that has come out of nutrek (i.e. getting rid of the stupid TNG Romulan design).
Yes, she can beat you easily if you resist her.
Tuvak was a brother vulcan.
I don't know what a neolibral is but I do know that nutrek is garbage. Old trek was awesome. Woke culture is awful. Liberal propaganda is complete shit.
At least TNG half assed their aliens and gave them all prosthetic foreheads to wear. Nutrek doesn't even do that now. Fuck nutrek.
zoomers must be some seriously fucked up people to have to have incest in everything now.
Why are Romulans named after the founding myth of an ancient human empire? Did their Vulcan autism make them latch on like a space weeaboo?
Or is the founder of Rome actually a space elf? I don't get it.
Yeah, everyone gets forehead ridges and/or nose ridges. Possibly the same ones recycled because Mike Westmore is lazy. TOS and Nu all suck because not enough ridges!
Doesn't make it not pandering. No issue with there being a female, obviously.
>> Vulcan is known for its punishing heat and sun light. Use some basic logic before copy pasting your gripes about woke culture.
Vulcan being uniformly hot and shitty, as you stated, resulted in Spock's look. So how did Vulcans races diverge into different colors if the the whole fucking planet is a hot furnace and that made a white Spock?
Why are there no pale/blonde/ginger Klingons?
The racial politics pandering only goes one way. That's why.
>considering how planet Vulcan is always depicted
Vulcan is post apocalyptic. Who the fuck knows what its ecology was like before the nukes dropped.
Real question is why is Picard trying to be Stargate now?
dis son shiieet
I wish your parents hit you more when you were growing up
>No.

"Like their biological cousins, Romulans possessed greater physical strength than that of a Human."
I think most fans go by this. It wouldn't make much sense that vulcans have super strength but romulans don't.
That's just something humans made up, and is easier to use, than actual romulan names. (Similarly how everyone calls Spock Spock, and not by his real name.)
Zero logical response. That's what I thought. Good day sir.
It makes lots of sense. Romulans lived on ships or a more hospitable planet for thousands of years. A real astronaut will loose muscle and bone strength after several months in a cushy near zero G environment.
Yes. They’re the same species only separated by differing philosophies.
Are we sure of that or is it that their lack of emotional detachment just makes their minds too “noisy” to reliably read thoughts?
When did they "live on ships"? I don't think any of the Star Trek species live solely on ships. Unless the borg do. (And besides, all the ships seem to have artificial gravity anyway.)
Let's face it: vulcans and romulans have pretty much the same genetic stock, so they should be very close in strength too.
Imagine watching anything american after 2010
Theyre a different species now with physiological differences (the LEAST of which are the forehead ridges).
I like Tuvok. He acts and sounds like a proper Vulcan. Saying that, I understand your point. My main gripe w/ STPs Romulans is that they dont look like Romulans to me, just average humans with pointy ears or Vulcans who can show emotion. Cant quite put my finger on it..maybe its the lack of subtle green skin.
We’ve seen they have a range of characteristics. We’ve seen that some have more prominent brow ridges than others and their skin tones range from deep brown, through white, through pale green.
>When did they "live on ships"?
When they did a centuries long migration away from Vulcan.
Where can I read up on this backstory? I love shit like this.
Like I said, cant put my finger on exactly why. OPs pic, to me, and the few gifs Ive watched she doesnt look or come across as Romulan to me.
Play STO (yes I know)
Have you seen the crazy one? She looks exactly like your stereotypical Romulan, only unkempt.
>not liking the colored cloth of TOS
Why dont poltards learn what neoliberalism means?
It's not explained so we don't know why but it's stated a handful of times that Romulans don't have Vulcan telepathy. In their first on screen appearance the Remans are shown to still have it.
