great writing, editing, all of those tecnical shit is like 10/10.

but it's kinda boring in the sense that "not much happens", because it's mostly about watching characters develop and they show it by making them do mundane shit and hit you over the head with symbolism and slight hints.

if you've watched breaking bad imagine that but with almost to no action

I don't like being used to long series now and now lord of the rings feels short, irishman didn't feel long, I don't want to know that much backstory and have that much drawn out will he won't he character development, and all the line ___ silence ____ line dead air makes me sick after a while, like being on a plane. Should not be able to stream these shows. Original airdate only + maybe reruns through the week before the next one. No more DVDs either.

Kinda. Some shows at least. Movie writing has become lazy. Special effects are just a way to fill time.
