Continuing on from here

Tell me about the flesh blobs being hit by space ships in the warp space

There really isn't much to it. Ax explained how Z-Space worked and how it was a minute possibility, and then later then mosquito morphing goes bad they are saved by a ship that almost rammed into them, but noticed them in time for a quick beam aboard.

Also I will be doing Book 2 as well.

oh man, the artist nailed how Tobias looks mean as a hawk
was this person a fan as a kid?

Bless you, I was unaware there was a comic adaptation beyond a couple pages. I have a ton of Animorph art but I'll refrain from posting until the storytime has concluded out of respect.

All good user! Honestly I forgot about these until the previous thread and haven't read beyond the first few pages myself, so we're all in new territory here.
And thanks for refraining, god knows plenty of other anons didn't last thread lmao

Book 3 is probably going to be the make or break for these comics. I'm curious how well they can adapt a book that was about 90% Tobias just standing around introspecting in the woods.

Wow
thats a lot bigger than my mind imagined it to be back when I read it. I imagined more gymnasium size

Attached: RCO089_1649168990.jpg (1029x1600, 323.54K)

I'm surprised at how effectively this is capturing what my mind's eye envisioned back in the day.

stupid dumb question I don't remember the answer to: how long between morphs do they get before their 2 hour limit refreshes? If I didn't know better, there were times where they were at the 2 hour limit, and morph back into human form, only to morph back into something else a few moments later.

I'd always pictured it like an enclosed football arena, only minus the stands. A huge open-air area hewn from raw stone. This seems about right.

The refresh is instant, from what I remember. If you can find a safe place to go back to human for even a second you're good to go right back to being a tiger.

The real question is who wasn't a fan of Tobias?

Yeerk Pool is more high tech than I imagined it. as a kid.

Their time limit refreshes after they de-morph. Like there was one time where they got caught in a yeerk pool cave-in and had to dig their way back to the surface as moles. It took more than 2 hours, so at one point they had to dig out a space large enough to de-morph, then immediately morphed mole again and continued digging.

I always thought it as a mostly empty cavern with like a McDonalds built into the walls honestly. But the giant spires and tubes do add a lot to make it more interesting and threatening.

You remember right. As long as you go back to normal before 2 hours in a morph is up, you can immediately morph into another animal or even back into the same one.

It takes like 90 seconds or so to morph, and it leaves you winded. If you go hard you can morph again right away, but it's like going from a few minutes on a treadmill to another few minutes on a treadmill no break in between.

Hahaah the guys watching TV

This is some Ben 10 Alien Force and TMNT 2003 shit right here.

So, question time.
How many of you reading would accept a Yeerk?

Attached: RCO091_1649168990.jpg (1067x1600, 352.92K)

I think just about every loner latchkey kid in the country gravitated towards Tobias. He was a good kid in a bad place.

Probably for the better. I still reread the books from time to time but not that I've read more. Harry Potter as a series is fucking dull. Especially if you've read the books of magic series. I guess it's just a right place right time kind of thing because I don't think I'd have enjoyed it if I was born now.

I like how Tobias is already like, "Fuck it, Imma hawk out as often as I fucking can." even before whats about to happen.

Do they grant me super powers including clothes-changing in a second like Venom and let me think for myself? Then fuck no.

Yeah volunteer hosts got to just chill in the cave and watch TV or play vidya, no chains or cages.
Still a shit deal desu.

I said I wouldn't post until you have concluded but I request this one exception.

I never thought Harry Potter was dull. Its good series with flaws.

Hunger Games and Twilight on the other hand had no redeeming features.

I don't understand how the writer of Gregor the Overlander could produce crap like Hunger Games and that it somehow wound up more popular than their better series.

All is forgiven and granted because of how good it is.

And thus, Rachels decent into endless bloodlust has begun....

>Implying you have control over your body/mind to actually drive the infested insane.
But yeah my life would be fucking torture for them. Imagine being cooped up in my house all day, no knowledge of good cooking, no friends, no social interaction, no communication not even with other fellow aliens, I treat my body like shit, I don't do the dishes, clean myself, the list goes on and on and on, basically the parasite would be my second mom. :)) except he'd have to share my depression, laziness, unwillingness to do anything, plus my lack of knowledge and my insane shakespearean rants. How do Yeertz even work? can they make up for a shit host or they don't want just any retard? imagine inserting into a cancer patient or Hotwheels who's bones twist and break everyday. I think the creator of 8ch has been dead for 6 years now.

I appreciate he's doing his damnedest to translate the gore without overstepping the censors.

Return to Monke

Yeerks would use their knowledge to improve the willing hosts life.

Tobias looks like he's going to murder someone.

>the top right panel
I'm so fucked up

It's Beast Boy time.

>infested by yeerk
>independent with a good job/apartment/social circle within 2 months
Wwyd

Funnily enough you sound like the exact type the Sharing would love. They'd turn your life around and use you as an example of how their group changed you for the 'better'
Really your best chance after they improved things is to go volunteer and relax with some free Micky D's

>infested by yeerk
>turns out you both have a passion for shitposting
>frequently critique and give each other advise on how your respective shitposts

>>Implying you have control over your body/mind to actually drive the infested insane.
You do have control of your mind. They hear you nonstop it's just most people usually scream beg and plead. The time cube book was all about a host driving their Yeerk insane by reciting Shakespeare so much nonstop that he wanted to destroy the time in which the play happened. Physically it came down to willpower with the strongest most people had being involuntary to the Yeerk spasms and twitches by the host.

Ah so it is basically complete possession without any feedback from the host's brain.
I remember an episode from Roswell Conspiracies where there actually is a symbiote relationship arc of some asian guy for like 4 episodes or so.

Attached: RCO001_1649211799.jpg (1029x1600, 404.43K)

Yeah that's a broken jaw

Attached: RCO002_1649211799.jpg (1067x1600, 352.53K)

The Iskort, who the Animorphs had to save from the Howlers were actually symbiotes.

Ellimist mentioned that 300 years later, the Yeerks would meet the Iskort, learn true symbiosis and become more peaceful.
