The movie established that Adrian had been playing the same manipulation game with his brother since they were little. He was clearly controlled by his brother the same way Moss was before she escaped, and that most likely made the brother to resent her as well, because he could never do the same, he was more tied to him and his money than she was.

Leigh Whannel is fantastic at pacing and suspense/drama. He's terrible at actual story. Always has been, always will be.

Because movies are created with "the agenda" in mind first, the story and other film elements are unimportant.

It might have been somewhat generic now, but relying on a cliché as fuck twist ending would have ruined the entire movie. The movie we got now is entirely okay, and what props it up is the novelty of doing it from the victim POV instead of following an invisible dude around.

I feel like Hollow Man is the median between this movie and the original. Where in the OG Griffin is all about the big picture. Fuck other people, they’re nothing to me whatever. But this new Griffin is straight fixated on one singular person. Caine is like a mix because he still has desires tied to those he actually knows but still understands that they’re only the beginning, and there are much bigger things to be done. All in all, this new one isn’t bad, I quite enjoyed it, but I really wish we could’ve gotten a modern version of the absolute loon that is OG Griffin.
