It was an alright watch. Season 1 was pure kino, season 2 was really good, this season was alright.

Never would I have thought that I would say that bad guy from Blade out-acted Ali, but Dorff fucking killed it. Glad he's getting that network money now. That being said, Scoot McNairy blew them both out of the water.

Season 2 was ok. Colin Ferel was great.
Season 3 was ok...horrible ending. Two lead actors were great.

I thought it was great. All True Detective seasons were great, obviously the first one being quite a few levels beyond the next two. It would be hard to live up to, but season 2 and 3 are objectively great on their own.

The acting was really good, but I'm pissed at the total fake out, building up to something intriguing just to open the box and finding two buns with nothing in between.

I do like how season 3's ending ties into the "time is a flat circle" bit from season 1.
It's a case that never truly resolves, that our man will live again and again without remembering or understanding as his mind and body wither away.
