Came here to ask about this. Castle Rock season 1 was a fucking slog that took me months to finish because nothing ever happened. Is this series just as bad? Is season 2 just as bad?

No way. I didn't finish castle rock because it's too boring. The outsider has a great aesthetic but Yea Forums isn't happy because a negress took over the investigation and they have a point. Still better than castle rock

This show is total shit and gets worse every episode. There were too many stupid ass moments in this episode to bother mentioning other than the hilariously small amount of chicken they brought back to serve as one of many retarded plot devices that make no sense. Also love how the the last preview showed shit that only happened in finale that was cut to black at the end of this episode... It's just so bad in every fucking way. If you haven't seen it don't bother the start is okay then it turns in to bullshit that is laughably bad but then it somehow gets worse and all you can do is wonder how the fuck the show was even released in this sorry state.
It's worse than Castle Rock for the same reasons that are all amplified. It's like some fucking NEXT TIME ON DRAGON BALL Z shit with even less development over episodes four times the length that rely on less believable characters and tropes.
