i wouldn't say there's filler episodes per se, but everything todd does is bad and the show would've been better off without him and his weird offputting sexuality; at most, he should have been a supporting character

None of them were filler, they all connected. Nothing felt wasted. The closest I can think of to a filler ep was the undersea one and that was great for the world-building alone.

I started season 5 and had to turn it off when I heard bojack say “diane” and diane say “bojack”. they become so annoying

i think season 5 is where there relationship becomes untenably strained, resulting in their ultimate estrangement
their climactic fight in episode 10 sums up the core of their disagreement, and i think that's when it becomes clear for the first time, despite the awkward innuendoes and advances in the first few episodes of the season, that they are at a point of no return, and will never form a couple
interestingly, bojack asks her to take him down in the final episode, which she vehemently refuses; in the latter part of season 6 this is reversed, and she insists on him confessing in earnest, tantamount to social suicide by this point
