I still don't mind Mauler himself, I just fucking hate most of the other people on E-Fap. If it was him doing a breakdown of youtube videos like he did with Hbomberguy then it would be fine. The "look how stupid this thing / person" genre ran its course and ended about 2-3 years ago, largely because the personalities descended into a holier than thou attitude and started cannibalising other tubers for content, when in actuality they're as mediocre and uninteresting as anyone else.

In hindsight it's hilarious Buckley never monotised his channel, because over the past 10 years he could have easily made a million or two from ad revenue, especially when his relevancy peaked when the adbux were best, but all he's got to show for it now is an inflated sense of self-worth and righteousness.

I didn't watch the entire thing but I do remember how he recognized that there was a disconnect between Verhoven and the writer of the movie on how they were going to adapt aspects of the book, with Verhoven hating it and the writer loving it.
