Do movies about WW1 naval battles exist? I've seen movies about all kind of WW1 and WW2 battles but never a naval battle from WW1.
Do movies about WW1 naval battles exist...
other than uboat shit, there weren't many naval battles in WW1 other than the germans getting their ass kicked at Jutland
there was just the one battle, but the Great White Fleet has travelkino potential
die männer der emden
The Germans won the battle of Jutland. They just happened to have a shit fleet and couldn’t extend that victory into anything meaningful.
owo what's this?
>The Germans won the battle of Jutland
lamo, no
I just want a nice comfy "Battle of the River Plate" style film about the Battle of Coronel, and the Battle of The Falkland Islands
they should make a film about the adventures of the 2nd pacific squadron

>Name your ship "Invincible"
>It sinks
?
>HMS Vulnerable and USS Daunted supported by the Sieve and Timid sunk the entire German fleet and won the naval war, in every war, forever even retroactively going back to ancient greece
You will probably enjoy the film 'The Battles of Coronel and Falkland Islands', in that case
Reasonable, but like I say - more in the style of The Battle of the River Plate would be nice
>mfw no movie about the SMS Emden kicking british ass in the Indian Ocean
>tfw you will never sink a Russian battleship.
>it was more accurately described as an alpha maneuver

For me, it's SMS Seeadler

Only a crumb of naval battle at the beginning though
>shoot your enemy to kill them
t. ancient japanese pirate wisdom
One of the few recent russian kino that is watchable.
Atlantis by Disney.
Is this from an Admiral movie? I recognize some Russian actors.
It's from a Japanese miniseries. Clouds Above The Slope. It's about Japan at the turn of the century. The last few episodes are about the Russo-Japanese War.
