I think it would be pretty to make a mockumentary of a fictional country . My idea for a fictional country is a country that's average as in a middle of the road blend of every country on earth.
I hope you get what I'm saying

My oc is basically a parody of a Mary Sue with a good relationship with her parents instead of the cliche orphan stuff. Basically she’s got all the powers of an edgy Mary Sue, but horrible luck, terrible eyesight, and a realistic personality
She’s basically a shy, anxiety ridden coward with anger issues, paranoia about people attempting to harm her, and she’s a total “follow the rules” stick in the mud. Also a burnout in college. She’s still a kind person who wants to help out, but she’s more likely to hide in an ally than save the day and frequently gets into arguments with 14 year olds and yells at baristas for messing up her name
She’s a mess

this is cringe

i've got an idea for a 1970s superhero world and a few characters for it. i've put 'em in the Yea Forums creation thread in the past and as far as i'm concerned the setting is basically public domain
based solely on the names, which of these would you most like to hear about
>Star-Raid
>Brother Bling
>Will Of Steel
>Living Frankenstein
>White Lightning
>Atomic Astronaut
>Dead Dan, The Dullahan

I will not tell you my idea

Fair enough considering I designed her to be pretty cringy and hopefully hilarious
Basically if the OP dark magical girl was also the person who reminded the teacher that there’s supposed to be a test today

>hopefully hilarious
No, it sounds like a shitty idea
Power, especially the type where the character becomes untouchable and unmatched by anyone, erases and deflates any traits of the personality you try to attach to her. She has no problems which she can't solve. And nothing can affect her because she is invulnerable to anything even if a problem lands a hit on her. Cool, there is no tension, no stakes - nothing. Fucking OPM only lasted for maybe a season then it had to write its own character out of the story and focus on someone else.
There are no problems which can't be solved with power.
Fuck off

it could work in a capeshit world, like how one punch man goes meta and is actually good.

the thing i lothe about capeshit is how unaware it is

I never mentioned her power, and it’s supposed to be similar to an edgy Mary Sue but she’s actually not quite as strong as one. Sorry if it didn’t come across that way, but the parody is meant to be that when you first read about her abilities she sounds like an unbeatable villain until you actually meet her and realize that she’s actually a nervous wreck that loses 90% of the fights she enters and runs away from most like the coward she is
What good is the power if darkness if a regular guy with a flashlight can beat you up

>meta
This shit was done to death and overplayed.
Going meta is the biggest sign of media oversaturation, comsoomerism and fatigue, where you just go through fiction like a mindless processing unit - there is no nuance, no attachment, it is all meta, irony, self fellation and uncaring, sneering disinterest. Meta isn't smart, it is creatively bankrupt and derivative, you literally have a tank filled with your own farts to breathe with that shit.

Hell even OPM went to shit recently with all the redraws and Garou wank, they took it too seriously to a point it lost its plot badly

Roger Rabbit but the MC is a aspiring cartoon character who finds himself in a world, that the world that he know no longer exists from his childhood which were told from the tales of his media/family.

He tries all sorts of media avenues, but all of them came out with varying degrees of success with failure in the end. His dreams couldn't be achieved in the end due to oversaturation of markets and ideas.

However, in the end he does manage to find peace at himself, after he gets the first hand experience at one of the many dramas of the industry. Although despite that, he ends up choosing to do the profession as a hobby with the friends that he made on the way.

>the thing i lothe about capeshit is how unaware it is
Capeshit should only be concerned with creating good, genuine stories; that appeal to people who can appreciate the genre instead of self-hating ironic dipshits like you. One of the reasons modern capeshit sucks is because of this meta nonsense. Once you strip away what makes the genre appealing (part of it being the silliness), it's nothing but a pile of grey goo.

Ghost Flight, the sci-fi story of a young man who seeks out the titular flight of spaceship fighters, to kill them for the crimes they performed as mercenaries. Of course, he's a mercenary now too, a fact that doesn't pass him by either. The reason why is that he wanted to see if there was really a justification for doing the things they did and that he wasn't able to see it at the time because of the way stories get twisted.
One of the main plot points is that he loses most of his dogfights with Ghost Flight when he first starts out, but eventually gets so good at ship to ship combat by sheer virtue of experience that he's able to go even with anyone else.
Normally, such things would be too fast for humans to handle, but psychic powers are able to even the playing field against computers and perform physics-violating feats like lightspeed jumping. The catch is that people with psychic powers can't do a mind backup- if they try, the result is a true clone instead of something a psychic recognizes as the same person. For normal people, a body that's specially prepared can essentially force a reincarnation on the dying person's terms, though it has to essentially be a blank hard drive.

I don't know how creative this is but if I had the money I'd like to fund a series of comics or animations of various myths. No retelling or modern revisions, just the exact stories and since the writing is already there the focus would just be to make really nice art for it.

MC's evil guy but he is REAL evil instead of I'm ecvil but good XD

If I’ll ever /makeit/ I’ll make an episodic cartoon about a mad scientist that was deemed evil and dangerous for society and taken to the asylum-like establishment. But the daughter of the owner of that established wanted to prove that the scientist isn’t evil and volunteered to look over him and make him change his ways. But instead they just secretly build a portal and start going on adventures to different planets/dimensions and try using the scientist’s inventions to help different characters solve their problems and prove that the scientist can do good. All that while the proprietress of another establishment in Egypt wants to snag the scientist and make him make evil inventions for her, so she sends her charismatic son and a silent hired hitman to catch the heroes.

fuck it, what do i got to lose i've embraced cringe

meet cirsie, a sheep who combines analog horror and being a literal black sheep with weird minor shapeshifting
she's completely harmless, and only wears masks to hide her actual face since she's shy
also she has a huge VHS collection

a parody mary sue is still a mary sue user

Second in Command of an Evil Alien Space fleet tries to guide his side to control of the galaxy while in denial that his emotionally unstable boss is going through a redemption arc.

Petty workplace politics and stock wpace adventure cartoon plots from the villains POV ensue.

A little metal man with a iron clad sense of justice and a big blue woman with anger issues travel throughout the universe in an attempt to be heroes. What each of them doesn't know is that their friend is lying to them. The man is being chased by an ancient order of knights he abandoned and the woman is being targeted by bounty hunters hired by her father who thinks she is kidnapped. These two have their relationship tested as their secrets come to light and they become forced to decide between following their dreams or doing the right thing.

I think that last time I posted this was 2 years ago, so I'm good to post it once more.
My idea for a show was to make a Shadowrun cartoon. For those who don't know, Shadowrun is basically about playing super-criminals in the future + magic and fantasy races.
Ever 1/2 episodes (maybe some missions are a two parter) would switch the cast. If some groups are unpopular, they won't be back in future seasons. If some groups are, they might get more screentime.
Each group's story is about doing a run (mission), but in different styles. You have an ultra-professional group who goes in and out without being noticed by cameras or anything, you have a social group who bluffs their way to their goal, you have a group of maniacs who go in with guns blazing, etc. etc. etc.
The missions all tie together at the end of a season for a bigger, more dangerous run. One group got some buildings plans out that serve for prep, some group's causing a distraction by being so ultra-violent, etc. It was all part of a greater plan.
And that's my shitty cartoon pitch.

I'm always kinda worried whenever i talk about my characters online because i don't wanna give away too much in case i actually make them happen one day so i get stuck on just how much to talk about.

I really, really do want to share my ideas, but along with the worries that come with sharing those types of things on an anonymous imageboard, I don't think the pitch I'd like to talk about is up Yea Forums's alley.

Here's one I have that not even its own creator would pitch:

So The Office but a country?

An elementary school in America set in My Hero Academia world. It's not about kid heroes or villains but instead just kids with powers.

Isn't that Yea Forums OC stuff?
But honestly, it's OK because Yea Forums doesn't allow OC discussion.

I have a whole OC donut steel setting I am slowly trying to flesh out.

Not really. Problem with mary sues is that not their powers or personalities, is how they bend narrative.

So now I established the premise. I'm just going to describe my OC students.

Rock, Paper, scissor

Jose Granite- can turn parts of his body into stone. I'm sure when he's an adult he'll master his ability and be a full golem mode. But for right now turning his arm causes massive shift in weight.

Janice Biclaw has a long hair that can turn into hard steel and cut things like a massive scissor. She has to sleep with a special hair net otherwise she cuts up her bed sleeping at night.

Tony Gamma- can turn anything into 2D and fold it like oragami

And what if you have an oc with a Sue-ish backstory but they don’t bend the narrative like that so they’re just kind of a loser with really bad luck

I mean, English Sue is kinda cute and doesn't induce rage like actual sues.

Pretty feminine boy and ugly manly girl

A taekwondo user enters the world of underground martial arts for the sake of making money.
Think a more PG rated Baki or Kengan.

I'll post a recent group OC image I did yesterday.

To elaborate, a guy who's more of a "Casual" practitioner (IE; he doesn't do it for a living) ends up in a world of absolute fighting autists of different styles, some of which haven't been tried IRL.
And yes, the champion is of course a dyke who weaponizes plot armor.

Here is my group OC from left to right
Petra Moore (human)
Zoe Miller (meta-human)
Valarie Williams (meta-human)
Lexi Wright (mutant)
The girlies saw something they don't like, and they wanna go home

Here's one that's been in the back of my head for awhile

>Save Us Great Hero!
A cowardly traveling merchant just so happens to be near the death of a monster terroizing the kingdom, and everybody mistakes him for having slain it. Now he's the great hero that everybody turns to whenever something goes wrong

Connor Ross is a meta-human with the power of darkness. (Think noob sabboot mixed with Riku) not to worry, he's a good guy. He uses his shadow duplicate to play jokes on his best friend Sabrina.

I only really do OCs for RPGs.
This is Lucy.
She has an alien God squatting in her head after doing a seance.

Now she fights crime as part of a team of teenagers with attitude.

Got a twitter or sumthin'?

Would it be cheating to pitch ideas for potential reboots/adapations?

U rarely post my art online. I usually post it in threads like these

I think the idea of the thread was to post your own pitches, but let's be honest none of these stories have any better chance than a reboot so sure, post reboot ideas.

Dead Dan, the Dullahan. Love me some fucky Celtic folklore

i made a visual representation of my oc

>running gag where José Granité and Jose Granite are frequently mistaken for each other

I don't think this has any better chances of actually being picked up

But a full Shiftylook reboot would be, wipe the slate clean and adapt new games, Like Toy Pop and Ridge Racer

Huh cool biological weapons. Reminds me a lot of the Tyranids' weapons, Scorn's weapons and that 1 sci-fi movie in the 90s I cannot remember the name of.

That's some cool shit user
I love your gun designs!

This would probably be really fucking expensive in every department and would be incredibly time-consuming, but whatever. Bear with me, I might not explain things in the best way.
Basically, the story takes place on an alternate history and maybe pre-history Earth. Continents are fucked up with their placement and shape and the wildlife is different, too, with some background speculative biology (i hope thats the right term) put in.
We follow a young man who has left his home so he can document the cultures and traditions of the made-up races in the world. The first episode does the normal first episode things, like introducing us to the world, the main character and formula. The formula goes, as follows: we start off with our main man landing in the location of that episode's nation and while he goes around trying to ask the locals questions so he can document them and doing other stuff to get information for his research, a narrator reads snippets of the pages dedicated to that race that were written in the future that are related to what is currently happening/has happened/will happen. He finishes his task, the narrator reads the ending notes for that race's page, and we move onto the next episode.

we should capitalize on the popularity of goblin shortstacks and make a wraunchy animated comedy about them

The episodes are mainly episodic, with most of them only being linked to the next and former by the way our main guy enters or leaves the location. But, sometimes, certain changes affect our protagonist or the world and are noted in later episodes.
For the first episode, the race page is about the protagonist's people and it explains some aspects of his personality. Throughout the episode, we learn that he is a really cowardly guy for most situations, afraid of change and changing things because he's deathly afraid of getting offed. He's incredibly careful with most things (see: fear of death) but all the previously mentioned aspects are lost if he can get more information. In these situations, he might jump off a cliff if someone told him that there's an ancient artifact at the bottom. He's always carrying a clay notebook with him and we learn that he's writing all this junk because he thinks the differences between groups of people are incredibly interesting. A flawed guy, but he'll try his best if he can help an individual or small group in some way.
...damn that's really long

Scott Harvey a (meta human) with organic repulsers. He uses them to fly and blast people. He calls himself "Shutter Speed". He's a bit eccentric and can be very blunt from time to time

Did use his powers to steal Rohan Kishibe's hairdo?

No he just has frosted tips

This one is an older image (I changed his eyes) when I was inking and coloring him in I forgot to use the current eyes that he has. But here we have mutant Ethan Tipton who's pretty much the opposite of Scott, someone who's more brutal pretty much a supremacists. He goes by Kron (his nickname) He's very fast, Agile, durable, good reflexes. Is sting enough to punch a hole in someone
