>Netflix dying, their cartoons shows were staging data to appear popular. >Disney is losing special privileges in florida and losing subscribers >DC is getting entirely rebuilt
So can we all just admit that this woke shit in cartoons/comics bleeds money?
This isn't wokeshit you loons, streaming services in general have been a plague on entertainment.
Picture, PICTURE, paying more than you would have for a cable package on a single channel mostly filled with crap. That's why cartoons fail on these platforms: Why do that when all of this and better is on Youtube for free?
Lincoln Scott
So when your schizo fantasies come true?
Owen Adams
Go woke go broke was real all along.

>Why are streaming services dying? I thought they were supposed to be the future. Streaming services in general were only a good idea when there were a few of them. Very few people want to spend the money needed to have more than a few streaming services, and why should they? Most of them suck anyway.
Lincoln Diaz
no people just dont like shitty products, if the politics of those shows appealed to the other side of the retard spectrum they would've still bombed
>watch as I “discredit” everyone talking by not saying anything, yet acting superior to others
Tyler Lewis
But he has a point, it's not that nobody wants to watch the shows because they're woke, it's nobody wants to watch the shows while the companies follow bunk data saying they do.
Joseph James
Netflix is failing because they suddenly have actual competition, and that competition has taken content from Netflix (e.g. Netflix used to have access to almost everything and now everything is on its own streaming network)
Disney will likely get their tax breaks back once the current narrative is forgotten and the politicians need money because politics is literally theatre, hence why Disney didn't even do anything but issue a statement. Their streaming doesn't have diverse content (anything not Disney, Marvel, or Star Wars), so of course it's failing, they need to merge Hulu into D+ already.
DC hired Zach Snyder, who ran their universe into the ground before it could even get off, dividing a fan base and diluting the brand name to the point that WB is now basically letting whatever sticks to the wall stick
Gabriel Nguyen
Nigga the reason people don’t want to watch the shows is because their woke trash. My god you disingenuous ass, do you not see everything else in the op? Disney getting fucked by advocating some politics DC claimed it was doing great and comic sales are better than ever, oh wait they’ve been sold off and completely gutted. That really happens to successfully companies right?
Justin Carter
>Snyder I still blame Hamada. Blame Snyder all you want but faggots wanted to be Marvel yesterday and wanted to force finished movies to be something they aren't. Their issue is less Snyder and more they panic at every turn rather than actually planning ahead or having confidence they just change ideas midsteam to try and ape something that worked for Marvel.
David Harris
No Netflix has hit their cap on potential subscribers and started losing stock because of it Disney focused on politics and it’s now biting them in the ass. DC movies failing have nothing to do with their other divisions failing. And before someone claims “comics are a dying medium”, manga is growing year by year

Ron DeSantis is going to be found dead in his bed with a severed mouse head by the end of next month. If the people effected by the taXx reshuffling don't form a mob and crucify him first. All because he had to stick to the script and fuck with LGBT people for no good god damn reason.
Adam King
Netflix isn't failing due to competition, they've been stagnant because of it. I'm a bit out of the loop as to why they're actually failing, though. Fingers crossed it's that the normalfag horde is finally getting sick of shows about live-action and animated little girls twerking, little boys dressed like adult female prostitutes, or that people are finally fed up with the woke tsunami, but I don't have much hope for that, normies are robots.
Disney's a complicated beast, I know the tax shenanigans in Florida might have something to do with it, and the smattering here and there about Disney staff/execs being creepy around kids I guess, but overall I don't know much there either, I've been awfully busy with shit IRL and haven't kept up on all this as closely as I'd like.
Kayden Adams
The publics eyes are on this right now. DeSantis having a “accident” would just confirm everyone’s hatred of disney, and then they’ll fail.
Michael Allen
Disney decided to attack a Florida bill that stop teachers from discussing sex to kindergartners. This pissed everyone off and now DeSantis is attacking Disney for clout/principles
Juan Hernandez
your mistake is assuming that Disney views anything DeSantis has done as a threat to their bottom line
James Bennett
The Twits is oddly cursed.
John Cleese wanted to adapt it for ages too and it never happened.

Netflix has always been in the hole, I thought this was common knowledge? Contracts with some of the most popular shows of all time aren't cheap, and neither is production of new stuff. They hoped that since they were getting bigger they would regain all that money eventually but now it's clear that they won't.
Josiah Ortiz
Streaming services had its value when nearly everything was on it instead of split across multiple platforms like it's currently is. Absolutely ridiculous at the price they are asking you to pay for it. Better off just pirating everything.
Ian Diaz
none of this has anything to do with "woke shit."
Netflix is dying because they run a terrible business (blowing a ton of money and making a profit on nothing) and regularly piss off their customers (raising prices, constantly canceling shows people like). They're scaling back their animation studio because it was hemorrhaging money, producing shows that no one watched because Netflix never advertises anything. DC is being rebuilt because Discovery wants it to be Marvel Studios 2.0, making billion dollar franchises out of each character. The Disney/Florida mess is just a temporary dick-measuring contest until the GOP remembers how much tourism money Disney brings in and then lets them go back to doing whatever they want.
Carter Brown
Disney don't actually care about LGBT people. You would be delusional if you think they ever cared. It's nothing It's nothing but favor of the month for them and attempting to make movie off it.
Logan Morales
be like me take the spumpill
Colton Parker
>Netflix never advertises anything No they do, it’s just woke as fuck. There’s literally always ads and articles for woke Netflix cartoons. >Disney I think that board call leak talking about turning kids woke is what really bite them in the ass. You know, considering all the Disney employees in cali protesting. Of course you won’t hear about it unless you look for it, no one wants to show the right protesting
No, this is market saturation and higher cost of living. This means risky, creator-driven projects (the shit Yea Forums loves but also derides as 'woke') will be cancelled to free up money to make more seasons of the Boss Baby Back in Business to desperately compete with YouTube Cocomelon shit
Michael Jenkins
>woke What the actual fuck does this even mean? Can somebody tell me?
Seems like DC is getting the better end of the stick here >Their live action movies and shows are becoming good again >The Batman side of things are more than covered with a hit new franchise and other spin off content >Talks of revitalizing Superman as a brand have already begun >There's no doubt going to be a big shakeup at the comic side of things
Jaxson Nguyen
>No they do, it’s just woke as fuck. There’s literally always ads and articles for woke Netflix cartoons. No, he was right, Netflix is pretty shit at marketing the majority of their shows.
Matthew Russell
Western media had this dumb idea that politics can be a replacement for good stories, animation, characters, settings, and really anything else, and now they're suffering for it.
Nicholas Peterson
>I'm a bit out of the loop as to why they're actually failing, though. Netflix original content is garbage and it relied on shows from Disney, Viacom and others to get people interested in their business, and when those companies got their shows back Netflix's originals didn't do so hot and people left for other places.
Netflix raised their prices while also still having mediocre to shit content but for a few shows.
Leo Gutierrez
Now that these platforms have reached peak saturation in the west, their growth is going to basically crater. They could try to appeal more to Asians, but very little of what they produce is interesting to Asians outside of South Koreans, and the stuff that they have that IS interesting is just stuff owned by other companies that they license for streaming.
Ian Hill
>Netflix Animation is dead >This means the Roald Dahl animated series is effectively also dead >tfw no animated blueberry scene
Yes, Disney and DC never had problems until now. And of course, Netflix was doing fine for years with "woke" content until they passed the invisible point. How did you get so smart?
Adrian Harris
At least we got an animated blueberry scene in To, and Jerry/Willy Wonka
