This isn’t going to happen, at least not right away. Dissolving the RCID would create all sorts of complications, the biggest of which being that local residents would take on millions of dollars of debt burden. I imagine it’s going to turn into a protracted legal battle and then be quietly dropped once everyone’s attention is on the next manufactured controversy.

I hate all of the right-wing's culture war bullshit and think DeSantis is a hack, but anything that takes away privileges from big business and raises their taxes is a win in my book even if it's done for dumb reasons.
