Enter said the girls were hot.

I don’t know who I hate more, Disneyfags or Enterfags.

Enter made a review of Turning Red, during it he brought up the fact that the movie didn't bring up 9/11 despite taking place in 2002 and twitter jumped on this.

> despite taking place in 2002
Almost like events can be mentioned outside of the year they took place in

He said it's weird it's supposedly set in 2002 yet they all act like it's 2018.

And they just don't bring up shit that you would hear about in 2002 like the 9/11 attacks.

Is Enter some kind of Newtonian body of autism? His autism MUST produce equal and opposite autism?

the full context is still stupid. he seems to think that everyone in 2002 are angsty, listened to linkin park, and became emo when celebrities like paris hilton, britney spears, kate moss, lindsay lohan, etc were rising in popularity around this time despite of 9/11 because of their party lifestyle. not to mention that 2000 fashion is synonymous with bright t-shirt and layered clothing that looked like shit. the anime comments are so out of touch too, why didn't Sailor Moon count when it's the show that Mei drew in her notebook?

every action has its equal, opposite reaction.

THE SECURITY SYSTEM TAKES CONTROL OF SQUIDWARD'S HOUSE AND BEGINS ATTACKING THE CITY

I can only assume that OP is this Enter fuck.

Everyone who makes a thread about bullshit drama involving a reviewer should be ipbanned forever after one warning. It's not comics, it's not cartoons, it's fucking Tumblr tier shit. It's not even Twitter screenshots- it's Twitter rage about a review about a cartoon- the second fucking cousin of relevance.
And it's always about the cancerous bullshit /pol/itics. These threads are not about nor do they promote discussion of cartoons. They are about hating people

Fuck this and fuck you, OP.

Yes, but Mr. Enter handled it incredibly poorly in his little meltdown.

Checked. I hate both about equally.

I never noticed how little sense it made for this guy to be out in the open looking like this in North America without people being racist towards him or accusing him of terrorism at the time (2002) until Mr Enter's review so I give him that

Why do they need to be mentioned at all?

Why would a sikh in Canada get the same reaction as he would in the US? Demographics and prejudices are different in different countries, user

I agree with him because the real issue is essentially this. 80s nostalgia manages to capture the "feel" of the 80s (on the surface at least). But a film that's supposed to be set in the 2000s feels like it could take place today if kids left their smartphones and computers at home. It's just lazy, even for a kiddy movie.

Have you considered you feel that way because you actually lived through the 00s but only superficially experienced the 80s through 80s media?

People on this board were posting pic related when the movie came out. Does this confirm he uses Yea Forums?

Attached: 1647164582565.jpg (4608x2592, 1.81M)

I don't see how that is relevant when the film doesn't even superficially attempt to portray the 2000s. I didn't say it does a bad job of it, I said it doesn't even try.

Felt like an early 2000s movie to me though which makes you wrong

I would wager you're in the minority here, which makes you wrong.

I would argue any consensus found on Yea Forums's Yea Forums is questionable at best and I'd be right too

>I never noticed how little sense it made for this guy to be out in the open looking like this in North America without people being racist towards him
I went to NYC the December after 9/11 and one of our cab drivers was sikh. Like what do you think they did, went into hibernation or something?

They all retreated back to where they came from, Canada

>he seems to think that everyone in 2002 are angsty, listened to linkin park, and became emo when celebrities like paris hilton, britney spears, kate moss, lindsay lohan, etc were rising in popularity around this time
Because they were

We're reaching the 2000s point of nostalgia where all the bad and gritty things are being washed away, and only the good stuff remains. With the 80s, you don't hear much of anything about stranger danger, do you? It's just heckin' pop music, and going to the mall, and Transformers, and all that.

>that blood splattered kid
Fucking goddamn that's sad

>movie takes place 1 year after 9/11 on a completely different country
>they SHOULD mention it for whatever reason
Are people THIS retarded

user there are fucking retarded rednecks who cant tell that Sikhism is diffrent.

A man wearing a turban means he is from the middle east to them

Yeah and how many of them were living in fucking Toronto?

amerifats are, yes

Because it was a country that is significantly influenced by America you troglodite.

Canada is an american colony

Quite a lot actually.

People dont hear about canadian racists because Canada just points at america

Yeah

Canadian racists pick on their indigenous people for the most part, not sikhs
They certainly didn't have enough influence to prevent them from having a fucking job

who gives a shit?

This is true.

Canada hates the Indiginous people more, but there is racism towards the Sikhs in canada aswell.

Should the movie have shown the parent teacher meeting where some racist parents complained about the sikh security guard? Would that have made you happy?

Nah I dont care about racisim and intolorance in cartoons.

I just responded to this user that tried to make it seem like canada would not care about it. When alot of Canadians had mistrusted Indians, Paki, Bangladesh and arabs after 9/11

that's not a good thing

Based

So Disney not only sanitizes old fairytales, but real life too.

based E;R

If they go out of the way to denote the year then why avoid critical events during that time? Really, if you are doing any story that takes place post 2000 you dont need to have a specific year unless it's going to be about computer hardware.

what does HE think of this whole situation

Attached: file.png (640x480, 125.68K)

who the fuck cares about disney anymore? all they do is make the most sterile shit to sell china now

Knowing Ben, he probably wants to fuck the little girl

Even if I were to grant Enter any credit, his schizo meltdown where he started pretending to be Rick from R&M is enough to cancel out any credibility he had.

What?

user you can't just tell me that and not give me some souce, spill the beans bro

The fuck? I don't remember this.
That sounds too autistic, even for him.

isnt mr enter the same autist who gets mad at "mean" shows? now he wants a kids movie to be post 9/11 mean?

Europe here, the entire fucking western world was really really fucking racist towards anyone that looked muslim enough in 2002/3. You HAVE to be American if you think this was contained to just one country.

Is this Mr Enter the guy who complained about old cartoons being too mean spirited?

Yup, that's him, somehow enough of a moralfag to get pissy at ye old cartoon but autistic enough to be a lolbertarian

I was 12 in 2002. My peers were pretty much what TR showed, minus the Chinatown (I'm a Yuropoor). And I assure you 9/11 was not a topic kids ever talked about among themselves because why would they? Geopolitics generally aren't very interesting for hormonal tweens and early teens.

Sounds like you're the schizo here, pardner.

>europe was racist
Wow really

He's already hard at work drawing really shitty porn of the underaged characters

Good, hope the fandom chases him away from making any more videos, and i'm saying this as someone who abhorred the shitty movie

The point was not so much "Europe was racist" as "Europe got really really anti-muslim overnight when 9/11 happened".

Kinda, but mentioning any events of 2002 adds nothing to the movie, it's just a silly little movie about periods and giving the finger to traditionalist, strict, disciplinarian Chinese Mothers
