Howard: Dave Filoni, he knows Star Wars better than anyone other than George Lucas, and he was taught by George when he was doing all of the Clone Wars because they did that together. And we worked together on Mandalorian.
H: I love Clone Wars. It’s my favorite.
BDH: Without giving anything away, you are going to love the Ahsoka show that's coming up. I cannot tell you anything, but what I can say is that you being a fan of the Clone Wars will be greatly rewarded.
after Mandalorian, Hayden Christensten is in it as a force ghost and Thrawn is in it
Brandon Russell
>Hayden Christensten is in it as a force ghost Of who?
Carter Roberts
It is going to be weird seeing ahsoka and anakin interact in live action when neither live action versions resemble the TCW characters at all personality wise
Charles Jenkins
I'm going to say it, I'd really want to see more of Rey than Ahsoka. Mainly because of the over Ahsoka exposure.
At the time, I liked that she survived because it looked like they were going to do some epic lore-filled cosmic shit with the force related to the Mortis gods.
now, she is literally just there
It would've been kino if Vader fatally wounded her doing their final fight and fell fully back to Anakin when he saw her hurt. Revert to the person he was last he saw her: the overly concerned big brother who just wanted what was best for his sister. Have that moment where they're master and apprentice again before she dies.
I am guessing they want Anakin to appear in the series as a force ghost so that that he can make up and seek out redemption for his crimes when he was Vader will the series end with him being resurrected from the dead?
Isaac James
>will the series end with him being resurrected from the dead?
no
Jackson White
Anakin showing up at all is so fucking retarded.
>OK I'm a force ghost and I already showed up at my own funeral what should I do next? >I could talk to my son >or my daughter >or shit my grandson who's hearing my voice in his head because my sith lord master is fucking with him and turning him evil >nahhh i'll go call ahsoka snips and peace out
Brayden Torres
I don't understand why Dave Filoni didn't write the sequel trilogy. He's responsible for everything good since the original trilogy.
Bentley Wright
ewok 1 ewok 2 sw holiday special
Jackson Edwards
We don't even know yet why he's Ghost following Ahsoka .
I assure you there's not going to be any big reason beyond having Ahsoka and Anakin reunite in live action for fan service
Leo Ramirez
Anakin being retarded is in character tho
Elijah Richardson
I think you wrong I see it this way Ahsoka dies in the final so a dying Ahsoka gives Anakin permission to inhabit her body so he comes back as a woman. This way he gets to atone for his past crimes as Vader and all is right with the world again.
Thomas Parker
Freely admit I don't like Ahsoka as a character and one of my problems was she's overly reliant on Anakin to the point she's not much of a character without him. I was at least vaguely interested in how they were going to write her when Anakin is completely out of the picture but they're bringing him back as a force ghost? She's really nothing without him is she?
I want Ashoka thinking he's a PTSD hallucination for most of their first interactions until such a time he pulls out that new "Advanced Force Ghost" power.
"Why didn't you ask me earlier?"
"Because, I've been talking to you for years Skyguy."
Alexander Baker
>get a teenage latina Isn't the Ahsoka series after Mandalorian. That's closer to Milf age than Teen.
Thomas Robinson
>fans of the clone wars will be greatly rewarded
Oh cool, i like TCW Will we get flashbacks to general grievous? Asajj Ventress? Count Dooku? Any big TCW arc scenes in live action?
No of course we fucking wont, it'll just be ahsoka, rex and maul for it all
>Will we get flashbacks to general grievous? >Grievous in an Ahsoka series Please fucking don't, he's been humiliated in every single scene of the Clone Wars already.
Ryan Robinson
Get them out of here! Get them the hell out of here!
It still ruins the impact of RoTJ if he keeps switching back and forth between Anakin and Vader every time he meets and faces off against someone he once knew. That ending works because we are led to believe he became Vader and that was it until Luke managed to pull him back. It doesn't hit the same if someone already did that to him before.
Chase Bailey
If they could actually come up with a good story I'd give Rey another chance. The problem is they'd also have to jettison the entirety of the ST since it was all complete shit in terms of characterization (and not just for Rey, no one got good characterization in the ST imo). So basically starting from scratch, like when we first met Rey in TFA but removing all the rest of that movie and TLJ and ROS. But Disney apparently can't write original Star Wars for shit so that's never going to happen.
Nathan Johnson

Revert to the person he was last he saw her: the overly concerned big brother who just wanted what was best for his sister. Have that moment where they're master and apprentice again before she dies. >That would ruin and lessen the impact of the ending of RoTJ though. Exactly this. The whole point of their confrontation in Rebels is that even though Anakin briefly surfaced it was Anakin who said she'd have to die. Nothing can affect Anakin's redemption until Luke in the OT.
Sebastian Miller
Agreed. For as much as the ST cost to produce it had just awful writing (and no planning of course). Seriously there are SW fans films that are much much better written than what JJ and RJ gave us in the ST. Filoni at least understands but also cares about the characters, JJ/RJ/KK/etc don't understand nor care about them.
Levi Fisher
Agreed. Of course that ultimately depends on hair and costume choices but at least the body type is accurate. I'm still cringing over the Grand Inquisitor in the Kenobi trailer. FFS.
This is one of the weird things about Anakin - his personality in the films is very different from how he comes across in TCW. Retarded Anakin is very much PT film Anakin imo but not TCW Anakin.
Jackson Moore
>Dave Filoni, he knows Star Wars better than anyone Yeah he knows pretty well how to steal stuff from the EU and make it way worse see Thrawn, Ventress or the literal Clone Wars cartoon. Not to mention how he even conflicts with the fucking prequels themselves. Oh yeah Anakin's power sure has doubled since last week he battled Count Dracula.
>Imagine if they're actually retarded enough to do this. Remember how Yoda only decided to show up to laugh at Luke's face in TLJ pretending to be retarded like before he dropped that act in Empire? This is the quality of Disney Star Wars we deal with.
Justin Myers
It's amazing how quickly Disney squandered the good will garnered by the Mandalorian. Book of Boba completely killed my interest in the future of the franchise and proved it was a short lived fluke.
Luis Kelly
>Oh yeah Anakin's power sure has doubled since last week he battled Count Dracula. movie anakin would 100% say something retarded like this and actually believe it though
Parker Perez
RotS Anakin is fucking brutal strength though. Dude beats up the Count alone. He wasn't kidding when he said he became stronger.
