i am not a furry HOWEVER youtube.com/watch?v=StBDYj_yK54&t=43s

they look like they fuck human men

I don't read webcomics

Neat windows95 art style

You mean Amiga art style.

Was the very first webcomic I stumbled upon as a kid. It’s what got me into reading webcomics.

I still keep up with it even the the tone shift is more of a adult slice of life now but it works for me.

Unfortunately this made me discover what furries were.

The author wanted to fuck another author's skunk OC so badly to the point you'd think he created her. I wonder what he's doing now. He must be pushing 50.

Amigas?

Old furry stuff had sovl. Now it’s all ugly tumblr shit.

Author is obsessed with obscure brand of computers that haven't been made in 20+ years

>everything looking like rejected Warner Bros toon was good

can't disagree, this is why I've started collecting old zines. Furry from the 80s and 90s has a weird charm that's completely different from what's out there today

I had an Amiga.
It was the first computer or console I ever got as a child.

nerd

Furry art is shit, no matter the period. It's a question of how degereate you want to be. Back then they couldn't dream of the shit that exists today.

It is crazy how old this webcomic is.

Nobody cares about Zigzag anymore, not even the furries.

She's probably hit the wall pretty hard too.

>t. never heard of Doug Winger

RIP you crazy bastard

I was wondering why this guys art looked familiar. He did a couple of things in some Ninja High School yearbooks way back in the early 90s.

There are both married and have children, what is even the story about?

a classic

Why does she look like Dale?

It makes me wish I had healthy social development instead of being a pariah in high school and a hikikomori after. Having friends/a partner sounds fun.

The only ‘old school’ furry I’ve ever met was Richard C. (Rapid T. Rabbit), just months before he sadly passed away in 2017. He did a hilarious Bugs Bunny impression and told a bunch of his old stories. Even when he was in declining health he seemed like a kind and wholesome soul who loves entertaining people.

Oh shit, I had no idea this guy died. I remember when he had few appearances on different shows in the 90s like early the Daily Show, possibly back when Craig Kilborn was still the host and I'd never heard of a furry

Didn't they make a comic about her being aged up at one point?

Better question what do you think Sabrina farts smell and sound like? She does canonically think farts are funny. Especially farting on her husband to make him feel uncomfortable..

The weirdest thing about old school furries is how many them would considered conservative by today standards thanks to most of them saw the old fandom as fun and apolitical. Similar with old school otakus and old school gay men. They hate how their community get hijack by political extremists for activism. Especially the trannies in all three ruining things.

As someone who works as a male nurse in San Francisco. I can confirm most baby boomer gay men are disgusted by the behavior of the modern day LGBT community.

I remember when it was fun and trendy to dress up as a nazi if you were a furry, you had people in straight up SS uniforms at cons. Trannies would have someone stoned to death for doing that today.

>I remember when it was fun and trendy to dress up as a nazi if you were a furry, you had people in straight up SS uniforms at cons.
Remember when gay bars were allowed to have crossdressing nights before the trannies and drag queens ruining it for every gay dude?

T and Q were a mistake, I want to just be LGB

I only know about Sabrina from Stuart K Reilly.

>Stuart K Reilly
Literally, who?

was a nice way to fill the void left by Tiny Toons/Animaniacs at the time. Author is also a big Transformers fan (check out his pic on how he feels about Kiss Players)

Got my first computer around 1999, and discovered this comic. It was okay. Always thought Sabrina was a cutie.

I think someone on Yea Forums asked him why he ws so obsessed with Amigas and if he till used them to work and he basically said some thing like "I just think they're neat, I use new computers though". Eric is relatively well adjusted for a guy in his 50's who's both a furry and Transformer collector.

Opala and her slutty family usurped/supplanted ZZ.
Have you been reading GATE?

Old furries were strangely more adjusted socially I guess. there's a focus on pop culture with old furry stuff I feel, like there's something lacking in modern furry culture which is more insular. They were into the sex thing too, I'm sure, but it was more of a right place and time thing.. Now there' a. lot of furries who are into the culture exclusively, and get in because of the sex aspect.

God, I love these old furry stories from the past involving unique artists who actually worked in the industry, anybody got any more? I remember in one thread someone brought up that one crazy furry who made up different internet personas, and who may have faked his own death
Also apparently Chris Sanders is also a mega furry and did some work for an underground furry comic. He even won an award at a furry con and even accepted it in person.

I wish I were rich so I could finance a Sabrina Online cartoon on Adult Swim.

it would have to be set in the 1990s and use the same off-brand computers.

and if there's any furry Elon Musks out there that can make this happen, better hurry before your target audience gets too old. Gen X is the first one to grow old while the wheels are falling off the US healthcare system so we're going to die off faster.

Yeah, bet he was a cool guy.

Honestly, I just like anthro gals and draw porn for fun, but making furry your only defining trait or being a degen in public? No thanks.

A redneck furfag who used to make "YouTube Poop News" videos.

That whole freedom of expression. You dont miss it until its gone.

>scaring the uninitiated by telling them to look up Doug Winger in the early 2000s.
God, there were still innocent internet users back then.

I've noticed that too, a lot of the older ones lean more moderate/conservative. A decent chunk of old school furries and weebs have military history too, it seems.

His obsession with them kind of killed my ability to get into the comic. It would be fine if it wasn't forced so often.

Casual bottomless female furry is the best stuff. Sadly has never caught on much outside of Sally Acorn.

Opala's world is old hat too, ruined by fetish artists and horribly subpar games that aren't fun to play.

Why can't furfags draw cute cartoon characters now?

She's not bottomless

Where the fuck is Brittany Diggers?

That was the most recent one I had saved. Go on and add her.

SO is so bland. It feels like the furry equivalent of a soap opera that's been running for the last 50 years that only your grandma and your old ass auntie watch. Shwartz's art style is appealing, but his autistic fixation on amigas, his massive ego, his views towards porn and his half-assed attempt at having a secret persona as a smut artist make him look like a hypocritical idiot.

Zig-Zag is like the Farrah Faucet of the furry fandom. The character every other furry would wank their dicks raw to 15 years ago, but she's beyond old hat now. Not to mention the fact that her design is cluttered as fuck yet she still manages to look bland next to any given furfags fursona. She, Sabrina and the entire comic are relics of a more innocent time.

The weirdest thing is that most old furry art was straight but the overwhelming majority of modern furry stuff is gay.

Yes

(citation needed)
all imageboorus indicates that straight content is the majority.

Still prefer Jay Naylor's Better Days

What happened to Jay Naylor? At one point his site went down for both the Better Days and Original Life archive.
