They always were.
It did not spring out of nothing all of a sudden.
As wages are plummeting and costs of living are rocketing people are just giving less of a shit about trying to please the status quo overall.
Fitting in and moderating yourself has less and less incentive, society is not paying back enough for standing uniformly in the line, so might as well just not do that trade and do yourself instead.

I like hyperbellies but hyperpreg just seems such a weird illogical fetish to me. Like nobody seems to think of the implications of having a fucktonne of children to care for, and even if they could afford it they'd just end up being viewed as surplus because there's no way the parents would love 30+ children all equally.
