This game is amazing. It is literally the MGR of the Spider-Man franchise. Everything is so unbelievably over the top. Spider-Man punches like Kenshiro and his arms go on fire. The Vulture's wings are made of blades he shoots out. Almost every character becomes a symbiote, like Electro and Wolverine. The environment destruction is incredible and you'll find yourself obliterating entire storefronts and apartments. Too many people slept on this ludo.

Shaba Games assisted Treyarch in one rushed game in their career, which happens to be the best Spider-Man open world game to date, and then got Activision'd. Funny you bring that up though, as it got me curious and it turns out 90% of their output is fantastic.

Yeah, it was the side scroller that also came out on PSP. There was a neutered version of the real game on Wii with some really bad waggle controls, but with costumes as a bonus (for what good those 64x64 textures were anyway).
