NYAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH MY WRIST

First two that come to mind are RPG World and Weesh

that one superhero comic where they were kindergarteners

Wrist posting. I miss it so.

Based I miss it too. Time to spend my day off tomorrow re-reading it

After all this time, they're probably dead.

technically didn't die, but I wish the comic was a little better known before it ended

>Used to read a bunch of webcomics
>Most of them died in or before 2019
Shit hurts man. Why so many in such a short amount of time? Hell even fucking Bleedman is still alive and kicking.

I wonder if that might be because tapas/webtoon "took off" around that time. Ronny Fillyaw is currently working on a vertical-scroll format thing on a hosting site too. Some artists might just give up or go on hiatus instead

Fuck not this

Still makes me chuckle a bit

I really hate both of these sites, Tapas in particular because it's UI and resolution aggressively annoys me and has the Korean samsung-dick-sucking that is scrolling down one gigantic page, while Webtoon only has the former and authors can just post page by page and bypass this entirely, but what really annoys me is that for a site that should make it easier for smaller comics it really doesn't given both of them have horrible search system, use Hiveworks' site to find good comics that can't get enough shilling.

Why was the porn so good

Honestly I'm with you user. I don't get why Tapas and Webtoons don't just implement panel by panel scrolling options for non-scroll webcomics. Almost all other comic sites have that option but I don't fuckin get why they don't. At least on Tapas you can zoom in but webtoons you can't, meaning if you're a creator who doesn't want a scrolling comic you're shit outta luck. I'm not a big fan of scrolling cause I just see it as a way to pad out stories. A simple standard comic can get through scenes quick and keep good pace. Scrolling usually is waiting for basic shit in one update that could be covered in two pages of a standard comic.

>I don't get why Tapas and Webtoons don't just implement panel by panel scrolling options for non-scroll webcomics.
Well user it is very simple, it takes work and use of the brain, meanwhile the usual uncreative Korean (usually Korean) webcomics make up most of those sites anyway so why change?

He mentioned making a short series about Zandra's mystery kid or that fat witch Jack tricked into becoming a witch.

Too bad Katie sold out

Technically Ozy and Millie properly ended, but the creator promised to bring the characters back some time in the future. Then Phoebe and Her Unicorn became a hit.

I've seen this girl's pussy more times than her actual comic

So somewhat unrelated, where do find comics that cater to a particular interest? The only sites I found in mine rather short search were furries or pre-2010s levels of outdated.

I came here with the specific purpose to post Paranatural
The list of things wrong is so long
>barely ever updates
>turend it into a novel with some pics
>keeps introducing more plotpoints
>literally more confirmed LGBT characters than straight ones
>spend a whole year on non-plots like hitball and mini vilain's second henchman

I'm fairly certian there's a flowchart going around, on Yea Forums.
I thought i had it saved, but turns out i don't.
Other than that, i guess just hang out at places people discuss it, and maybe you'll get lucky.
Wish there was some website for this though

We'll never have anything more.

really cute. Why aren't there more comics though?

Katie Rice, the artist, is busy with work in the animation industry. The comic is on indefinite hiatus

How is this webcomic even supposed to end? Cant really have a happy ending since everyones parents abandoned them and staying in a camp isnt very happy either.

Maybe as they age, some will help build the camp into a hospitable non-adoption orphanage.
The camp involves dealing with parental childhood trauma, and then leaving through the deep woods when you're 18 to rejoin society, as someone potentially would in real life.

>comic goes on indefinite hiatus
>forget comic exists
>remember years later and decide to check for updates
>forgot name of comic
Somethingsomething cute lizard reincarnated water god, their not-indian avatar and her shortstack lesbian cheetah pirate girlfriend caught up in god politics. Oh, and there's another reincarnated god that's the embodiment of nothingness who's out to destroy the other gods and their avatars.

>you find it again despite all that and then you find out your tasted developed into not liking that shit anymore

His new webcomic is pretty good too.
Slow release but hey as long as he doesn't just cut everything off leaving you going "hope he didn't kill himself".

At last word, the creator was swamped with RL stuff and was going to have another artist take over anyway, so that's probably not far from the truth. Now if only the ones who quit because they developed a debilitating medical condition would at least try that route. Looking at you Alien Hand Syndrome creator person.

I heard she signed away the animation rights to the story while trying to get a cartoon going?

I believe that was a rumor that is still unconfirmed. I'd believe it though since Nick has a habit of hoarding rights and then doing nothing with them.

comic?

I think if that were true, Weedonwancha would have been pulled off the web

I miss these guys like you wouldn't believe

Not necessarily. Them owning the right to adapt it for animation doesn't mean they own the ip outright.

I didn't hear that, I think she just can't get it animated by anyone else, but she could likely continue it in webcomic form.
I wonder if her gaining some directing experience with Animaniacs and other stuff can increase the likelihood of it becoming a cartoon later? Televised cartoons are on the decline, and maybe they'll want new toons for Paramount+.

Holy shit, I remember those OCTs.
I also remember someone (I think it was Zeurel?) throwing a shit fit they lost to a meme character?

Name?

Every time I see Jujutsu Kaisen's first opening, there's always a bit of sad nostalgia for Paranatural that comes back to mind - that it could've successfully scratched the "stealthy paranormal fight school" itch I had before JJK did. A darn shame, really.

I'm pretty burnt out on Japanese culture, so I really wanted Paranatural to stay good. My favorite setting is probably any Smalltown, USA

Zebra Girl by Joe England

Big McThankies

yeah well its shit now

Holy fuck. I haven't thought about RPG World in almost 20 years... wild.
Didn't he come back for a bit and try to pick it up only to bail on it again?

How?

Paranatural. It's dead to me.

IDK man, this was a long time coming.
I really, REALLY liked and related to a lot of his stuff but the coming became a real one-note-song.
Franky, he probably should have buttoned it up sooner.

that second to last one is based actually

This one will always hurt just because of how much potential the first couple chapters had and how quickly it dove off the cliff of endless hiatuses, go-nowhere arcs, and deteriorating art

Dead webcomics or webcomics you wish were dead?

because most of it was official, because MC's kind of a perv

Yes and no, it's a complicated situation but the tl;dr version is that when a company funds and produces a pilot, they get certain rights to it assuming that the show actually goes into production, if they don't broadcast the pilot or request a second pilot or contract for a season, then after, I want to say like 30-32 months the rights revert back to the creator

Based on when Katie produced the pilot I think there's like another 6-12 months before production rights go back to her unless Nick takes some action.
