Find a flaw

Find a flaw

It touches itself

Wasn't that the point of it? Throw supers at it till they find a flaw and then fix the flaw and start all over.

The remote controls the robot!

...Yes.
Are you a professional joke killer?

>Superheroes with radiation manipulation, intangibility, and other forms of advanced elemental manipulation cant defeat it
>guy who is pretty strong defeats it
I guess all you need for everything is a bit of elbow grease and creativity

Feet too strong. Body not strong enough.

/g/ Here.
The square cube law says that the weight of the bot will put so much weight to the ground, that it will sink though it

He didn't even use his super strength to beat it

It was almost perfect.

Its claws shouldn't be sharp enough to penetrate itself.

Oh right, the point.
The point about throwing supers at it.
The point about specifically find a flaw.
That point?

I think those ones were more so glass canons who can deal a lot of damage but if caught off guard by the Omnidriod they'd be killed easily. Mr Incredible is not only really strong but also incredibly resilient which allowed him to survive it long enough to come up with a plan to get inside it and have the machine destroy itself.

imagine losing to first round omnidroid v.X1 lol how embarrassing it looks like a shopping cart

fpbp

>Characters with radiation and atomic manipulation powers are seem as a big threat
>Mr Incredible is still seem as the biggest threat
Why? Obviously he defeated the robot, but why would they give him such a high threat rating even before that? Because he's strong and smart? That's it?

It can't handle multiple supers at once

He had to hold the rocket hand. Also take a major ass kicking, but that's more durability than strength.

syndrome really killing it with that curved monitor setup.

>Henchmen walking by snicker quietly about how he has to deal with black bars on the sides sometimes

Why not?

Because then it can fuck itself up

he actualy had to pull the head off, which it looked easy probably because of his super strenth

Nothing he defeated Mr Incredible
v10 on the other hand...

You mean what happened in the movie, dumbass?
Which helped facilitate the movie's story?
Dumbass?

Because syndrome was the one rating them. So obviously he would put mr incredible way up.

that makes a lot of sense actually, even if he hates him he clearly has some psychotic obsession with him, of course hed consider his parasocial nemesis the biggest threat

Yes? Exactly? Are you following the conversation?

Wait a second, if the ballbot on the island got defeated by Mr. Incredible, why wasn't the ballbot in the city upgraded against being able to poke itself?

I am. Are you? Because how can the story go as it did if they weren't sharp enough?

if you read the lore, he was arguably the greatest superhero at the time.

i was too young to understand how sad this scene really is :c

So Buddy went to all the trouble of creating V9 just to scrap it right after it easily beat Mr Incredible and build a whole new one?

In the brazillian dub Bob uses female pronouns to talk about the robot and I have no idea why

They had to crunch production to meet Syndrome's schedule so they couldn't make big changes to it

>that day you realised all your friends are fucking dead

They stalk these guys collecting data before they approach. Bob demonstrated the capabilities he used to defeat the omnidroid long before he actually fought it. Those qualities are demonstrated in the omnidroid fights, but the omnidroid fights aren't the first time he demonstrated them.

By a robot that just tried to ice you.

I just assume the guys working on the bot couldn’t figure out how to make the claw not penetrate its own armor. So they worked around it by making the bot bigger and harder so Bob couldn’t rip of its head, and updating the AI so it wouldn’t hit itself.
The rocket-powered claw was outside its control.

Judging by the descriptions it looks like the only improvements Buddy made were giving an extra arm and making them bigger.

How the fuck did no one find out about this? Didn't the government hide all these people and keep tabs on them? Shouldn't they notice dozens of supers disappearing in a relatively short timespan? Don't they monitor all their phone calls and mail so they should've known that they were all hired by the same company?

>In the brazillian dub Bob uses female pronouns to talk about the robot and I have no idea why
It is pretty curvy and leggy.

fuck you faggot those wheels are cool

>Grabs you with big claw at sonic speed before you can react
>Crushes you because you don't have a lot of durability
It's almost like it was made to be a fair foe to Mr Incredible...

needed to be bigger and badder, also he wanted to use that rocket but had too much extra space in it

Less heroes less paperwork.

>Damn all these nuclear level metahumans suddenly went missing
>what a relief! :) obviously no bigger threat could be doing this

>The problem with modern Yea Forums

Didn't the V9 have a blue visor, not orange?

This jobber got destroyed by Jimmy Olsen (Macroburst) lol

Needs a cape.

Mr. Incredible is at the top of the hierarchy because Syndrome is obsessed with him and considers him his arch nemesis, not because Mr. Incredible is the most dangerous hero. Although to be fair Mr. Incredible did end up foiling his plan and killing him, so maybe Syndrome was onto something.

Look the the "threat rating" in the computer scene. Mr. Incredible is the highest at 9.1

>why wasn't the ballbot in the city upgraded against being able to poke itself?
There's no point, all it needed was a tweak not to target creatures inside itself with its own claws.
Realistically the only way it's going to be vulnerable to its own claws is if somebody had the remote and specifically made it target itself.

Yeah naturally Syndrome would rate his nemesis as the highest threat

v.X8 (The one that Mr. Incredible fought near the lava) had a blue visor. v.X9 had the red/orange one.

Because it's pointless and illogical. It is far more rational to make the scenario where the machine self-harms impossible by making its innards more difficult to access, which is exactly what happened with the Omnidroid v9 and v10, which were so huge that the move Mr. Incredible pulled on the v8 would've been fatal to attempt.

Would you give yourself a shittier knife if you figured out you could stab yourself through your own armor, even if your armor is more or less guaranteed to block fucking everything else everyone else can use against you?

And what was Syndrome's plan after bombing a government plane? Seems like this would ruin his plans to become a new superhero, since the supers were always in contact with the government (the FBI guy attended Bob and Helen's wedding).

They saw that they died on an illegal cape job so they said good riddance. Syndrome probably used different shell companies and I bet offers for illegal cape work aren't uncommon.

his plan was to crash that plain with no survivors, including the black box thingy.

It's an accident, his automated defense systems misidentified the plane and shot it down. He's a big shot defense contractor so these things happen, here's a couple million dollars to make things go away.
