I guess, but not really. I'm only a freshman (2nd semester), so I'm not really sure what I'll be doing. Unironically my classes are way more philosophical and introspective than it was on paper.

Like half of Pixar's films are specialized in focus. They often have creative leads that pour a lot of their own perspective into their movie. Most tend to strike a balance between their own vision and the general audience. Some so it better than others. Cars is a good example of a movie with a personal experience that didn't hit as strongly with a good chunk of the audience. Still a popular movie but if you ask some people who liked other Pixar films they will think Cars was boring. This is probably Pixar's most divisive movie yet since it's almost exclusively geared towards girls but that's still on track for Pixar's style.

You can embrace technology and futurism without being a dirty sovok. In act, healing the morals and culture is not a thing of the past, it IS the future, and technology can play a part in it.
