Yup. It's not great. This is the worst line-up since I started reading DC in 2005.

For tomorrow, I'm trying to catch up on some Marvel/NotDC shit
>X-Men
>Venom
>Eternals
>King Spawn (No idea if I should start at King Spawn #1, or Spawn #1)
>Black Panther
>Radio Spaceman
>The Rush
>The Sword of Hyperborea
>Human Remains
>Sheena: Queen of the Jungle
>Evil Ernie
>Bettie Page: The Alien Agenda
>Kaiju Score: Steal From the Gods
>Immortal Red Sonja
>Mighty Morphin
>Rain
>Norse Mythology III

x men's pretty good if you haven't read it in years honestly

>Intentionally alienate your existing consumer base while chasing the interests of twitter users who will praise you for your woke publicity stunts but not actually reliably buy your books.
>Hand over your continuity to one-trick ponies like Tom King and Bendis.
>Roll out the aborted 5G remnants in a half-assed way.

Oh no. How terribly surprising.
Quick, which character can we make gay next for publicity?
We already have a Gay Superman, Gay Green Lantern, and Gay Flash. That only leaves us with Gay Batman next!

That will surely make fujos buy DC comics!

Attached: Crisisbeat_748062_Velma_.jpg (412x396, 30.34K)

Well Gay Superman was never going to be a top seller, so I don't know why you're surprised

Wow that’s sad

4 Batman books? It isn't much.

Why did you hide Wonder Woman and Superman and Sandman?

I was reading Hickman but it got shit around the Ball arc. Then he got cucked out of an ending. I'm trying Duggens run now.

None of the 30+ Batman books are woke.

That's just one page.

Please don't interrupt the MCU shilling.

Depends on your definition of 'woke'. The you know who crowd is ready to call everything woke if necessary.
What?

>Gay Green Lantern, and Gay Flash
I think I know who your talking about with gay green lantern but who is gay flash?

Norse Mythology has some pretty fun moments.

Yeah, I enjoyed the first 2 volumes. Pretty kino.

Read Suicide Squad Blaze, one of DC's only good books

Attached: suicide squad blaze 1.jpg (2550x3263, 2.67M)

agreed, it's a solid book

So post page two.

Wonder Woman, Superman, Batgirls, Sandman, Green Lantern, they are all getting books today. So why was that hidden? For what purpose?

...

here's your page 2 bro

Attached: battm.png (917x262, 485.33K)

Anything to read beforehand?

I am batman is actually pretty good

Naomi isn't Batman. Wondie isn't Batman. Suicide Swuad isn't Batman. Red Hood isn't Batman. Batgirls aren't Batman. I thought DC was only publishing Batman. What happened?

Post page 3 now.

>Red Hood isn't Batman. Batgirls aren't Batman.
kek

Is Spider-Woman Spider-Man? Is Silk?

Silk, yeah. Spider-Woman, no.

Sorry, Die!namite -> Die!namite Lives! -> Die!namite never dies

You forgot the Valentine's Special!

There's a valentines day special!?

user you're amazing!

Apparently so!

Attached: file.png (1020x1567, 3.06M)

I totally missed this. Great find!

>Spider-Woman, no.
Why not?

She's not connected to his lore and is her own thing
She only has Spider in her name so DC wouldn't take the name for themselves

Then Batwoman doesn't count as Batman either.

No.

Bendis has been an industry staple for 20 years. Regardless of his writing, he's anything but a one-trick pony.

maybe it's because you and all the rest of the people that say this stupid complaint use a pirated website for comics and the people that actually pay mostly buy batman books

I'm not paying $5 per issue, filled with ads, on shit quality paper with awful binding, forced tie-ins, fill-in artists, etc.

The 5G Future Flash.

>>King Spawn (No idea if I should start at King Spawn #1, or Spawn #1)
You can jump into it, but if you've never read Spawn before, I suggest going over the main series first. The comic peaks at around issue 100.
Alternatively, if you still want a recap of roughly what happened before, read Read 296 and 297. Then check out Spawn's Universe (it's 1 issue) and you're pretty much good to go.

Attached: spawnpill.jpg (1988x3054, 1.41M)

That's kind of my point.
All their most woke publicity stunts sold for a few issues and then die off, quick.

Why in the fuck is Marvel so fucking mediocre now?

You'll uh... be willing to back that up by pointing out the differences between Miles, Riri, and Naomi, right?

thanks

whererd you get the list

Better than DC atm. I say that as a DC chad.

Is it? What are they publishing that is better than The Swamp Thing or Sandman?

Swamp Thing isn't even the best DC title.
Also
>Sandman
Huh?

Not denying that but DC was always boring as fuck to me, their only fun characters are Superman, Constantine, Batman, Lobo and Plastic Man

Marvel had waaaaaaaaaay more range and was a character factory while DC stagnated with a dozen characters, dozens of fun titles but right now everything is so fucking repetitive, Venom everywhere, zombie X-men, they can't release new characters or villains that are interesting.

>reading the big two in 2022

>Swamp Thing isn't even the best DC title
Then Marvel is even more behind than I thought.

Attached: 77CD2FEF-21CD-4F0A-93ED-7A4602281579.jpg (401x700, 40.22K)

What's the sandman shit you were talking about btw?

>Marvel had waaaaaaaaaay more range
Liiiiiiiies.

Marvel literally only publishes capeshit. Even stuff that isn't capeshit becomes capeshit when published by then, like Alien.

DC is right now publishing a book about a haunted plumber. Marvel would never. We all know this. If there isn't a character saying catchphrases while making poses, Marvel won't publish.

Also...Eternals? Seriously? Stop, fucking stop, let them die, please they are absolutely 100% pointless ever since the X-men started to focus on their own country

What you're saying doesn't really make much sense, user

oh wait shit nevermind I was talking about the Inhumans, I hate the Eternals too but not for this reason

It's kinda sad how DC's overreliance on Batman in movies spilled into the comic books.

Hello completely unrelated i'm a newfag trying to become acquainted.
Someone said alfred died while bat was somewhere fucking selina, where exactly is that run? Is it just somewhere in batman 2016?

Where to I read to learn who the absolute fuck cassandra cain and that purple outfit batgirl are I have no clue who they are.

Am I fine starting with the 2016 rebirth editions of most heroes I find cool

Just don’t bother. Read independent books or weeb shit. Don’t spend money on big two or even waste the bandwidth to download cape shit.

Spider-Man has more movies in the last 10 years than Batman had in 60.

Weebshit sucks I've consumed too much of it. Went my whole life watching dc cartoons/movies and realized I never dipped into the comics I need shit under my belt. I've read a couple in the past year now
