I thought the Marvels was alright and I was thinking Thompson's Captain Marvel run was going to get more interesting after that especially with Binary's introduction, but last issue was a huge disappointment.
Seriously, silly disposable villain with cat things (it's always cats) and constant comments about them smelling like pee. While comic is a nothing burger road trip with the whole Carol has a fish out of water naive alien girl who is discovering the joys of Earth. Can't believe she had Binary, Carol, and Monica and still managed to make that comic boring.
The Captain Marvel Annual with the Star jammers in contrast was fun, I think I'm ready to have Torunn Gronbekk as the main writer of Captain Marvel just to get something new already. Thompson is never going to get more interesting.
