Post your current art.

After about ten years.

When you're gay

If you're gonna make it, immediately.
If you're a lazy fuck too afraid of failure to ever become an artist, you kick the can down the road for the rest of your life and never post anything.

You don't know, just do it. Even if you think it's bad, it may appeal to others in a endearing way to stick around.

The bar for webcomic art quality has always been very very low

When you feel like it.
Just delete your old stuff if you get better and are embarrassed.

You're already good enough. I post my shitty comics online and anyone who doesn't like them can blow me.

In reality the shit cake has 5 people lining up to sample it while the gourmet cake has 30,000.

files.catbox.moe/rnleb9.jpg

I did this a few hours ago. I'd paste a comic I did last week but I don't have my sketchbook with me right now. Also sorry for the nudes, I'd give her clothes but I don't know how to give my drawings clothes without making them look weird.

trash

People still showed for the worse cake. Just make a better cake next time

that's pretty bad

keep practicing, user.

Shit, keep drawing

Oh no no no

learn a little anatomy bro

You tryna' make smut, boy? I thought it was gonna be a goofy comic or somethin'.

What even is this user? Anyways if you lean on the comedy aspect you can make relatevely succcesful comics with subpar art, it just has to be a bit more appealing than yours. (Also you don't have to be funny, only relatable or quirky)

its bad, but that doesn't mean give up.
you need a foundation so start practicing things that are more like, conditioning exercises. I.E. drawing an entire page of squares and trying to draw them as consistent as possible, then a whole page of circles, then a whole page of lines that are exactly the same length and angle, and do that every day for like a month.
it sounds dumb but its like conditioning your body before you start trying to run a marathon, you just do stretches, go for walks, and jog a bit. you don't want to just immediately break into mile long runs right off the bat.

after doing your exercises focus on a single thing to get good at. like do a whole sketchbook of JUST faces at different angles, and imitate artists that you like and try to copy their work. then after getting comfortable drawing faces move onto the next thing.

hope this helps and i hope you can keep working on it, cause drawing is very rewarding once you start to get it.

Thank you all for your advice and have a good night. If this thread is still up tomorrow I'll look for my comic and post it.

try to hold a pencil next time

This has to be bait. Is this a new hobby for you and you just want to see the horizon?

Why so many seething Anons here? OPs art is not awesome but he isn't Chris-chan either.

>5 people want your cake
>be offended by this
???

I like this take

Never

you wanna see my shitty art?

too bad i lost it

If the dude can take these punches and learns to keep drawing and improving, then he will deserve to call himself an artist

Some of the replies are low effort "screenshot compilation" tier reactions. That said, the OP really lacks basic art skills down to how he uses his pencil. Some weak artists use simple shapes like circles for eyes to compensate for there flaws, but OP's linework isn't actually good enough to rely on shape based designs like that, (without digital correction). Also, women don't have camel toes like that

She looks like a fucking garbage troll incest baby.

Whenever you're confident enough ti post it.
There are plenty of successful webcomics with awful art.

I've never felt so physically repulsed by a drawing, so, uh, good job

that's a good way to put it

If I'm whacking my meat to some big booty cheeked Raven porn and I'm presented with two drawings, one of excellent quality and another of subpar, perhaps even mediocre quality, 10 times out of 10 I'm going to be busting my load to the good drawing and not even give the shit drawing a second glance.

>graphic designers deadline: that other person is better than me
>the teacher: oh boy grading

I decided to post one of my own drawings to give you all something better to look at.
I made this years ago as a teen and i think it still holds up.
Sorry for the low quality. I hope it still looks good enough.

It looks like it could be a style of long necked characters. Draw a small group of characters together.

Hm, nothing much to go off on. Don't see any charm or thought put into it.

Post them as soon as you can draw enough for the first few pages. It doesn't matter how bad they are. The sheer amount of shame from readers criticizing your artwork will be enough to steer you in the right direction. Lack of shame is why you see so much terrible art being posted en mass today.

Ah yes, the neck. I'll be honest, that was a complete accident but it managed to grow on me.
I'll try drawing a group later today. Anything specific you're looking for? How many characters should it be? Should they all be OCs?

For those who don't believe me.

Is Yea Forums fucking up image posting for anyone else?

Attached: AbsoluteZozzle.png (220x219, 74.97K)

looks like you drew someone from school

someone is behind fucking up, maybe it's a country doing the shit

kek.
But seriously, it's just something i drew on day when i had nothing else to do. I started with just moving the pencil back and forth on the paper and thought that's all i would do. Didn't expect a lady to come out of it but when i was seeing those lines i was seeing hair, and then a head to go with that hair, then a neck and finally a body.

So really the big issue is the nose, you could fix it either by raising the eyes (and doing it less retardedly than I did, the brows might be uneven) or lowering the nose, whichever looks less fucky to you.
Kind of funny how they both look like totally different characters now.

>all these (You)s
What's the hubbub about? Seems par for the course when it comes to shitty porn drawings.

3d figures, outlines, skeletal lines, and anatomy. Learn these, practise these, then you will not shame yourself.

Here are some tips to practice with.

-Practice drawing shapes

if you can draw the perfect circle you can draw the perfect body. Circles and squares are very simple but they are way too easy to mess up. There are lots of different ways to practice shapes and a good simple way to do that is by grabbing a blank sheet of lined paper and start filling it up with small shapes.

-Gain line confidence.

Paper artists like you can work better and faster by making longer stokes from the pencil. This works effectively with long limbs or hair to add a more natural, curved look. Be careful not to use short, scratchy lines all the time when drawing as it looks awful when trying to draw smooth skin or limbs. Another little nice bonus is that you don't have to use your eraser so much.

-Use more construction shapes.

I see you understand construction lines but when rendering a full human body that is not enough. The human body at any given angle or pose can be broken down into simple shapes like boxes, spheres, and cylinders. By using these shapes it helps you keep your character consistently proportioned. It may cause your bodies to look a little stiff but that's all part of the learning process.

-Study actual human anatomy.

I see you drew two little lines to represent the clavicle but you gotta realize people don't just put those lines there for show. The clavicle is the bone right at the bottom of throat and at the top of the chest. A few quick glances at an anatomy picture can help clear up an easy mistake like that.

-Use reference photos

-Its helps immensely when drawing people you have a real life reference picture to constantly check back on. Drawing from imagination is fun but if you want learn how to draw bodies accurately there is no better way than to study photos of real life.

If you want you can head down to /ic/ for more resources, or any other drawing website. watch out for crabs.

I can't tell if I erased the guidelines or not, but use guidelines. Not one free forms anything. Everything is 3D shapes, everything is a construct of multiple shapes. Everything is layers intertwining with layers.

forgot pic, let's see if this works this time.

i've done this as a teen long time ago

Attached: IMG_1155.jpg (4032x3024, 3.29M)

So, what is this for? The girl in the middle looks like Libby from Molly McGee.

That's a nice image.

it is. I'm trying to find an example of a picture with guidelines and this is all I have.

Have you tried using Google images?

This reaction pic is from a porno doujinshi.

thanks i was bored with my notebook in math class and this is what i sketch out of the blue. Spongebob background-ish art on the left and
Pink and flowers on the right. im a random ass dude but i've happen to fuck with pink but it's not like my favorite color.

i got another second decent piece here
