Why is red a lucky color? Why is Meimei the luckiest girl? Talk about the characters of Turning Red Post supplementary media and news Post about what you liked, what you want, and what should have been Merch and artwork too Most importantly, have fun and be /comfy/
I truly believe that Turning Red is a monumental movie that deserves at least as much kudos from highbrow critics polled by Sight & Sound as WALL-E or Miyazaki does.
Don't believe me? Don't see the KINO in this scene?
She's a cartoon character. You think most cartoon characters are anatomically correct for their ages??

Ryder Hughes
She is underage.
Jason Davis
yes.... and.... what of it? what's next, are you going to tell me that the sky is blue or that grass is green? i fail to see the problem here.

Not even taking into account the style, kids grow up at different rates (and some Asians in particular continue to look little and squat through their teen years). Plus, even the plot tried to indicate that Mei was behind her friend group (Priya already had pads ready to go, Mei being the last to have her attraction to boys grow beyond celebrities)

Given one was sent to theatera and the other was slated for streaming. It is safe to say you are a retard.
Owen Hughes
Oh no, a movie I liked didn't make a lot of money in theaters. Well, anyway...
Ryan Clark
Wanted to take my kid to see movie until I saw what it is actually about. Jew plot.
So was this an actual style in 2002? I mean I was there but I was 8 years old and a boy. Wearing a skirt over long pants. Also what is she even wearing? Are they tights?
you forgot the (you) also ehh, not feeling it. It would be really low quality and not satisfactory really.
Michael Roberts
something I *did* learn from the book though, is that even though they hype up the all female leadership team on Turning Red, artists with dude-sounding names are a big influence on this movie.
Heck it was dude artists who storyboarded the red peony scene (co-storyboarded with Domee Shi) and the "you forgot your pads" scene.
Nathaniel Rogers
I was 15 and no, this doesn't look very 2002. The pants look more like those skintight leggings girls wear nowadays, so it just comes off as modern looking
Michael Fisher
which of the girls are most likely to do sexual acts with random strangers?
