That looks like Bill Vigoda art.

Yeah, MLJ mostly was undistinguished with a few exceptions. Bill Fujitani (on the Hangman) had a wild impressionistic style that is fun and he developed into a more realistic artist by the time he did DR SOLAR. Bob Montana of course was great at slapstick humor. And I like Irv Novick (on the Shield) because he swipes so many Simon and Kirby poses that it's like finding a new Simon and Kirby story!

Who else wss good? There was Charles Biro on Sgt Boyle. Biro did many classic stories for DAREDEVIL about broken homes, gambling addiction, juvenile delinquency etc but he was better known for his storytelling than his art in itself.

Mostly, MLJ artists did well eniough that you could tell the characters apart and figure out what was going on, that was about it.
