His older drawings still had Bartleby liking Sonia, and the pages we do see have Bartleby being cowardly and disliking Sonic. I think the change has to be gradual, with Bartleby getting less foppish and more buff and confident until we arrive at the Bartleby we all know.
I really do want to see the birth of Bardonic though, but I'm guessing it gets really explicit really quick at that point. He was worried about showing some pages on youtube so it definitely gets lewd at some point. As suggestive as his modern content gets, he's been adamant about keeping his videos family friendly.

They're all great, but Sleet and Dingo origins and the beach episode are my favorite. Sleengo's my favorite couple, they're just so cute together.
Tamers made over 100 SU comics before he started his Deviantart and Youtube in 2011. We know from the few pages we did see that the early comics were very similar to the show (no giant butts, no Bardonic), so it's speculated that they gradually morph into the modern Tamersverse. These comics are basically the holy grail of Tamers lorefags like myself.
