It's the former. 682 inherently despises all life that's not either itself or a specific handful of anomalies that it tolerates. There's even one article where the Foundation basically having saved it from being killed along with everything else by 2935 shows it footage of said death-cave and it basically has a screaming fit until they tell it that they sealed off the cave. It genuinely thanks them, but it ultimately doesn't change the fact that it still wants to kill them all.

The only time I think its hatred of the Foundation is even remotely justified is in 6820, due to that being Deepwell Catalogue where the Foundation is explicitly evil and without morals.

i do enjoy characters who have their own little subtle features, tho part of me wonders if its intentional or accidental. Like Catalina wearing heels.
