Also, surprised this hasn't been posted, but we're getting a comic mini-series that takes place after season four, with back-ups that reveal untold stories from previous seasons.
dccomics.com
ahh too bad it's just a miniseries. Personally I want comic back up with the OG members, but hey at least Bowhunter Security there
Finished the new episode. So, was "Arion" a clone mix of Orm and the original Arion? Also, holy fuck did Savage get BTFO'd hard.
I would hope one of the bonus stories could take place after the season one finale. They could really explore other time periods with the way it's set up.
>Follow up to Phantoms
>Superboy prominently on the cover
Guess they had to wait until the episodes confirming Superboy's alive to come out before announcing the comics.
i watched up until the Artemis arc and stopped. it just feels pretty lackluster to me.
I think the Outsiders stuff is a story from the past. In the preview artwork, Terra has shorter hair and Cyborg is with them even though he’s in the League.
Bowhunters Security and Perdita stuff is post-season 4.
I really thought this was going to be another "all according to keikaku" from vandal, but him getting creamed on was so much better.
Anyone have a link.
I have hbo max, but this shit isn't included in my country.
Im curious what will happen to Nu Orm, maybe he joins a potential outlaws team.
>I am a king, not a dictator
The fuck does Arthur think a king is
>Spoiler
Simon had a brain in a jar when they looked through the clone's memories, it was likely entirely Arion's body with Ocean Master's brain.
Honestly confused about this too. I guess Dictator is more about total control altough honestly in crisis situation it could be very helpful to have a quick direct decision taking. While King seems more "honorable"
There is nothing honourable about kings. That's just some weird myth that morons have deluded themselves into believing about history
can't have the all the new diversity looking like a bunch of failures can we?
I think it's more a difference of amount of control vs reason for control. Dictator is about having absolute power while king is about being a normally hereditary ruler that is supposed to embody the state. I think what he is trying to get at is that while a king normally has absolute power and is often legally above the law, there is still some expectation that they do what is best for their people and often have some limits on their power, while a dictator is about maintaining control while ignoring the law.
I'm watching the episodes right now... JFC, the mental gymnastics are off the charts. Kabob women wear the headscarf because if they don't they will be raped at best or beaten in street more likely.
The dialog reads like reddit fanfiction about Islam
still watching, why the fuck am I getting PSA shit about Islam? What does this have to do with anything? Also, have the writers never read the Koran, Bible, or any other semetic text? God constantly causes pain to the world and wipes people out just for not believing in him hard enough
>muh pronouns
Just finished ep 14...it just keeps getting worse. Seriously, was this actually written by reddit?
That episode just felt super forced. the ones after it haven't felt as much like a PSA and mostly have had more natural inclusion, although it is still more inclusion that most other shows.
ep 15
>muh wealth inequality
were off to a bad start but why not, better than muslim shit
I have a feeling these episodes were made BEFORE the Taliban did their takeover schtick. That, and the Chechens made Islam unpopular again.
what's the scheduling on new episodes?
they are really laying it on thick with the race mixing imagery. This was clearly written a white person who grew up exclusively among their own kind. As someone who is mixed race it's fucking wrong, if it was up to be this shit would be illegal. I grew up in a mixed race neighborhood, bmwf parents weren't the majority but they were the majority of the problems.
Man seeing Savage get absolutely REKT for once was beautiful.
I guess New Orm is going to be more like his modern version, lot more sympathetic and understandable in his motives. But holy shit they did a LOT of twist with Ocean Master here.
>mulatto child
>adult in the room
absolutely fucking delusional. Mulatto kids were always worse than the regular blacks back in school, every one of them had a chip on their shoulder
>I would hope one of the bonus stories could take place after the season one finale. They could really explore other time periods with the way it's set up.
Seriously, there needs to be a series like the Injustice comics that cover the timeskips. The original tie-in comics had that usual problem where they couldn't have any actual plot-affecting stories because they can't assume regular viewers will even be aware of the comics, let alone read them. Covering past stories neatly side-steps that problem
you know, I just realized but Dolphin would have made a much better love interest for Kaldur than the Mexican looking homo he is with. The "you have to call your parents" is a classic gf move. Also, why doesn't Clark recognize two Legionaries? Going to the future used to be a big part of his backstory
So are both Kaldur and Arthur going to be Aquaman now?
so... I am expected to believe Arion has just been wandering around for thousands of years and no one ever knew?
Well, it was better than the last episode but I don't like the split focus stuff, either do the time traveler plot line or Atlantis, switching between the two just distracts from each-other.
I laughed at Vandal and Orm basically going "Bro you get why we had to kill you right?" and Orm's just like "Yeah....."
Being Vandal and surrounded by retards must be true suffering
He won, his plan literally went off perfectly, but dumb fuck Ocean Master couldn't resist one last fuck you to his brother
how the fuck did the bug go to school? A glamor charm is just an illusion, not gonna hind that mass or extra arms.
it's gonna be an intervention episode isn't it? And here I thought I was watching a superhero tv show.
Ocean Master's managed to fuck up like 3 times now, im surprised Vandal gave him another chance.
>my loves
you know what I hate most about this thruple shit? How unnecessary it is.
I dont mind Halo asking about Islam or even talking about her pronouns, but who cares? What does it contribute to the current season?
This should have been part of last season. Trying to focus on characters from last season's daily lives just seems like filler material.
Its time wasters like drawing out Beast Boy sulking in the tower for episodes ad nasuem.
wait, according to what were told just a short while back they have been searching for ancient Atlantis for thousands of years, how did no one think to dig a bit deeper? How did Arion not tell people where to look?
Lmao did Lagoon Boy seriously go "well my kids born... IM GOING OFF TO JOIN THE JUSTICE LEAGUE"
they differentiated the clone from the original using DNA testing... THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS.
WHY? Why can no one at DC look up the definition of a clone?
oh god, the Bugs speech at the end of ep 16 was so cringe
>Arion was just a clone with ocean master brain
fuck that man, i tired with this ''vandal savage is behind everything'' for once i wa shoping this Arion was the real deal and in the end he would give a big speech declaring his father is Vandal savage the same Light leader trying to control everyone and that the prophecy was just some bullshit Savage made in the hopes to put someone under his influence as king of Atlantis, them Arion just fuck off telling them to stop act like kids and just accept Aquaman as king.
>How unnecessary it is.
All relationships are unnecessary, user.
stop watching this trash heap, it's bad.
Why the fuck did Vandel monologue his plan exclusively in front of the clone?
Not even redditors are this bad at writing
ARGHHH. Really, fucking REALLY
They are doing the every claps for the woman leader shtick? Fuck, this is textbook tumblr shit
>High KING Mera
Did know one explain to the woman who wrote this shit that king is a exclusively male term? You would think someone obsessed with pronouns shit would know that.
Whats wrong with High Queen?
*did no one
You realize there have been a number of female kings in history right?
So how did Savage know Child would not only arrive and make a fire tornado underwater next to right city AND had a clone programmed and ready to deploy with instructions to subdue said tornado AND had told the whole plot to brain in a cloned body to enact some prophesy?
AH HA HA HAHAHAHAHA
Not a single mutation, he's literally gone full cuck
What a waste of a cute girl design.
only in MODERN anglo translation. The source language always refers to them by their proper term. The first that comes to mind is Jadwiga of Poland but in polish she is referred to as Karaleva (Queen) as opposed of Karol (King) same with all other instances I know of. Women have been Regents (gender neutral term) but calling a woman a king is like calling a man a queen; it's modern gay AID's filled liberalism, picrel.
only thing that would have made it better is if the kids hair was black
And in modern atlantian translation she is King Mira.
You're getting butthurt about you're already wrong about.
see
This is really fucking gay lol
>AGGGH
Just more gay liberalism. I grew up in Ukraine and we had history lessons on Poland, Jadwiga and her sister were referred to as Queens.
>And in modern atlantian translation she is King Mira.
Just like how Muslims are a religion of peace that respect peoples pronouns and wearing the hijab is a choice, not something you get stoned for not doing. As far as I am concerned this is just more tranny mind programing.
Nightwing when?
This is really WOKE
the absolute state
Google that episode’s writer and you won’t be surprised.
Is he even that kid's dad?
And Lagoon Cuck. Arthur gave him the name in the episode too.
