It's not INHERENTLY hurtful, it's just extremely oversaturated in comparison to the reverse.
To be fair, this is indicative of real life though.

That being said, studios are being overly conscious of trying to enforce positive self image of every other group, but they're largely uncaring of Asian dudes.
