I said it the last couple of threads and I'll say it again.
1. Lucy is full of shit and is just saying mean words hoping to distance people away from her, which wouldn't be so eye-roll-inducing if it weren't for the fact she'll crawl back to Paulo the moment she needs to validate herself again.
2. Paulo (as well as everyone else with the exception of maybe Augustus since it might be the first relationship either one has had that isn't pure poison) should cut all contact with her for their own sake.

After the conversation they just had, Paulo dealing such a low blow is weird and reeks of "I need Lucy to win the argument so here's a fast pass for that".

Again Lucy sucks but Paulo also sucked just as much in this particular issue.

There is a kind of pottery to this awful mess in that both Lucy and Paulo default to acting like hurtful assholes then turn around and try to smooth things over with unconvincing platitudes and non-apologies. It's a chance to self-reflect that Paulo will be too angry to notice.
