It’s that time once again for the weekly thread where we discuss everyone’s favorite intangible…Chuck what are you doing here this is my day!
Wazzo Wednesday
I know it doesn’t quite work considering the 5th was yesterday but I thought it was kinda clever
Morning, gotta say I'm at least happy YJ has the time squad doing real shit now in the story. Also redeeming the Tinya design somewhat.
And I guess this is kinda on topic, what's taking the doomboot mini-series so long to finish?
Delays and Bendis wanting to probably extend his death grip on the franchise
>Chuck
Based
Extremely so
Dude got his tv show, he should just move on to focus on that at let someone else handle the real team.
He should but Bendis is Arrogant, petty, and hates it when other runs are better received than his own
>Shooter hated Chuck because he reminded him of a fat kid in his school so he wrote him to be inadvertently based
It’s so weird that despite being one of the goofier legion characters he’s actually a genuinely great character with the best luck
I picked this issue up a con a few years ago, it is displayed prominently in my home.
Reminder that in Threeboot, Carggites are less a species and more a super-cellular organism that reproduces via mitosis. All of them are Luornu. Luornu is a chubby chaser who loves Chuck. Meaning there is an entire planet of Luornus thirsting over that T H I C C slab of man meat. But there is only one Chuck. Draw your own conclusions.
He would need a ton of stamina, but considering how Retroboot Chuck and Luorna were on their 5th honeymoon and she could now duplicate infinitely we know he does
The spirit is willing and the body is able. Presumably because of the super-formula.
what is this? sauce?
It’s from one of DC’s Holiday One Shots, DC’s Cybernetic Summer I came across it when I was looking for a blue Beetle and Booster Gold story to storytime in that thread
Did she have a connection to the Phantom zone in the comics?
>Children really were the future. The lawmakers and protectors of the 30th century were the teenagers known as the Legion of Superheroes, whose own constitution specifically allowed only those under the age of 18 to join.
>Little Jim Shooter was a fan of the first hour. He is a lover of the Legion but sometimes a ruthless critic in some of his reader letters, despite his young age. The boy entering adolescence had a very personal vision of what the Legion "should" be like and wanted to be heard. At age 13, in mid-1965, he wrote and drew stories with the Legion of Super-Heroes
Sometimes, it varies from versions. Original silver age Tinya could just go there with ease on her own.
Interesting
>Best girl and/or best boy?
That’s honestly a tough choice there are so many great characters
Literally a harem built wife lmao
Greetings. What's next for the new Wazzos?
>One founds herself a rich home
>Another sleeps in the phantom zone
Already her sleeping is actually more engaging than the rest of the show
Cute
So I just came across an unreleased Brainiac figure by Spin Masters, which considering all they ever put out is Batman figures that just become peg warmers I doubt it’ll ever see the light of day but it got me thinking a Legion Toyline needs to happen
>Legion Toyline needs to happen
Absolutely. What continuity these belong tho? Would the legion be in this style?
I think a blend of different costumes would work best so a mish mash
absolutely. considering the only options we have now are the super exclusive sdcc dcuc pack or the dc direct figures that are more like mini statues that barely move than anything
Really nice
Wassup wazzo
>used to have all of these and the little book like packages they came in
>all were thrown out when my parents basement flooded
That’s a shame
