Yeah, I don't imagine a live action adaptation won't look utterly ridiculously. It's pretty much a guarantee. The silly costumes and some of the other little design choices are going to be a little awkward to get done and I just don't see them putting in the money to get to make it work.

Not just about the body. Adrien is unrealistically handsome for a teenage boy. Its hard to replicate that ina cosplay when you are a smelly acne-craved and oily boy.

Personally, I don't think starting with the first episode is a good idea. The season one finale is a two part prequel episode that sets things up and establishes our characters and villain. I can't help but feel it's a better entry point than the first episode is.

Does anyone know what the correct native format (PAL or NTSC) is for season 4 of Miraculous? I'm trying to make a dual audio version for myself, but Disney+ has some episodes in PAL and some in NTSC, so the audio pitch is different.

I bet Marinette and the rest of the gang will be high schoolers now and played by actors in their late 20s, early 30s. I wouldn't be surprised if Adrien's actor was already balding for the steroids.

Yeah, it's a bit of an odd detail. Unfortunately I kind of doubt they will do anything with Alix any time soon so we'll probably be wondering that for a long while. Especially since it looks like this next season is going to be sort of focused on gathering back Miraculous. I don't know if that will have time to explore the background characters. Luka will probably get something though. It would be a real surprise if they end up doing absolutely nothing with him knowing Ladybug and Cat Noir's identities.

Young Alix has yet to transform.
Adult Alix also has rose tattoos, but we haven't really seen her with Rose. Just an indirect acknowledgement of a gift that was suppose to go to Rose, I think.

Rose and Luka are in a band together. Perhaps Future Alix was foreshadowing a Luka x Rose ship.

This still baffles me. She had a couple of roles in the first season and a bit after that but then pretty much did nothing after. Why did current Alix get such an odd deal? She's not as bad off as Ivan, few are, but she's with the other class mates like Kim and Max. She does a bit better because she's part of Marinette's girls crew but that's about all she gets.

Yeah, that part sort of tripped me up as well. I can only assume that the yoyo did disappear once she de-transformed and the only reason she rushed to transform back was because she wanted to check which Miraculous were lost. Still doesn't explain why she rushed Tikki to finish her meal like it was somehow going to effect how long her yoyo was around.

I just watched the Shanghai special with my little bro. I didnt know these (this and NY) were canon, but I loved this one a lot more. NY felt like it was just shilling a different show (disappointing for my hole city), but Shanghai was awesome. It added some new lore, Adrien and Marinette got a decent ending, the new character Fei is both hot and a great character (where's her porn?). The animation seemed bigger budget too and everything they did was cool like the big giant lion thing.
Basically I gotta ask why does no one talk about these specials more? And where is the chronology/where does it take place?

They aren't. Or at least not in any way that matters. They're considered canon compliant so anything they do won't effect the main plot. It's sort of a shame really, I actually liked the Shanghai special and wouldn't mind some of it bleeding into the main series, but this also means the New York special won't ever matter and I'm glad for that since that one had some questionable stuff.

Juleka's twin being with Rose would disappoint a lot of people who wanted Rose to be with her. I kinda prefer Luka as being the chill single guy anyway

The entirety of New York full of super heroes I think was the thing I really didn't like. Sort of makes Akumatized villains nearly causing damage large enough to wipe out countries every other week sort of silly if were supposed to assume other heroes world wide don't bother showing up to help.

I feel like it makes more sense that other major cities have their own heroes while Paris has theirs. Paris being the only place that has heroes and villains running around is sillier.

Eh, I don't know about that. By the way the Miraculous were initially established it seemed like there being heroes at all was unusual. That the world hasn't seen heroes for centuries. That the world was running fine without them and Hawk Moth broke that and forced Fu to find a Ladybug and Cat Noir. I thought that was a bit better than there just being super powered people running around.
