Aagh! A ghost!
BOO!
>With practice, thought will become instinct. Instinct will become action. Action will become victory.
Getting a bit of Sith code vibes here.

Oh boy, time for feudal Japan!
Oh geez, this one
Sure Usagi, it will totally happen the next time just like all the other times you said that.
>Usagi trying to actively stop meddling, but then his meddle instincts kick in
Is Stan very religious? The secret Christian stories were interesting but they almost feel preachy at points.
I couldn't say
>Chasing him on foot when they have horses
Why doesn't have any arms in the bottom panel?
there could be KIRISHITANS in this very thread!
they're tucked into his kimono
Because he was disarmed.
This just seems like an odd thing to do considering the Japanese Gods literally exist within this universe. Is Jesus going to suplex Amateratsu?
It's cold.
Jesus is muscling in on Nippon God territory
Praise the LordLittle reminder that according to some Japanese, Christ died in Japan and his secret brother took his place in the crucifixion.
stan makes sure to not mix the supernatural stories with these more grounded ones. it's easy to suspend your disbelief, at least for me
now that story is weird
You think I'm gonna let it get to me, I'm just gonna creep
Down Kabocha* Hill I gotta find my lost kid
I know that he's here, I feel it in my ears
The Grasscutter's power allows me to meddle
It's time for an ENTER of our honorable neighbor.
Cool dual paneling right here
I wouldn't be surprised if he was Christian, but I don't think that's what motivates him in these stories. I think it forms a parallel to his interest in Bushido in the stories. What people are willing to die for, and the consequences of it, is clearly something that Stan finds worth exploring.
hmmm who could this be?
>Nezumi...?
>ᴿᵃᵗˢ.
Heh.
Fucking Kitsune stole Murderanons Usagi files!
Its Kitsune isn't it shit its gonna be Kitsune
>purses stolen: 22+
don't even joke about this, her spirit broke free from that stone remember
Ishida is the best
Imagine if he was a frontier sheriff.
Chad Ishida putting Kitsune in her place.
Bump
Thanks OP
This does look as if he huddles his arms for warmth.
>KIRISHITAN
How dare my honor be tarnished with such an accusation!
It is a breakfast lesson, Usagi.
I thought that was Bushido.
>nothing harmful
It's some kind of poison, isn't it?
>31 long panels in a style of a folding fan
Yes, a poison of mind.
Some would even call it the opiate of the masses.
Oh boy, it's THIS one!
on the contrary! it saves people!
I can feel my anger rising already...
>Usagi (unwillingly) Yojimboing: 11
>Christian
Oh, so it's t h a t type of "cure"...
Spoilers, user, spoilers!
I definitely think this is a contender for one of the worst stories in Usagi.
Oh fuck I can feel my blood pressure rising already
You're back! From the dead, even!
Usagi can detect greedy bastards a mile away.
relax guys relax
>Jesus and Hikiji are humans
What could he possibly mean by that?
I love Usagi's pissed off face in panel 2.
lord enma told me to come back later though
Meddle Man is a deadbeat dad and will continue to remain as such.
Wait a minute, she's just merchant class, Usagi could fillet her for that insolence!
And yet our best boy wont.
Ohhh, this is the "secret kirishitan" story you guys have been alluding to, isn't it?
Usagi needs to stop blindly trusting people who say X contains "nothing harmful."
>Not furry Jesus
huh, so are all foreigners human? Is Hikiji actually foreigner too?
there will be another one later. this one feels like a prototype to it, actually
Usagi confirmed Team Fall
I on the other hand do love the cold, it's the slippery ground I can't stomach.
Also the inbetween seasons around winter are a bitch. Wet AND slippery, like the Kami just decided that the peasants must be fucked over twice as hard!
>that damn smile
Based Ishida.
just be glad you can have snow where you live
Someone mentioned it last thread, but there has been more rabbits lately. I wonder if every region has a differing population of species, and we're in one with more rabbit ancestry.
I'm pleasantly surprised the chief inspector didn't try to force the Nezumi accusation despite the proofs.
YHWH beat the brakes off of egypt and knocked Ra out cold for 3 straight days, jesus could take her.
I.... am rather taken with Kitsune's profile in these pages.
>The punishment is death
As expected in feudal japan.
>i have such an uncontrollable temper
This is nothing compared to what we've seen so far, lol.
Dunno if I should count this panel, it's has Usagi talking.
God, I hate feudal japan
better don't then
Dammit guys.
Well there was that one time when you met that one thief who started begging for his life the second you got close to him.
I've already broken- I'm projecting as the schmuck she's exploiting, and I'm imagining going along with it just in amusement and to see how bad it can get.
Usagi, if you converted, maybe you could finally be rid of Jei and the literally festering spiritual wound that you have.
while this story surprisingly doesn't end with a dead grandma, it still gets me because it feels much closer to reality
I'm the opposite, I'm looking to move somewhere with no snow.
Jesus will have a tea ceremony with her.
The one story where a dead grandma would be a blessing...
ENTER
I won't, thanks for solving my dillema.
KIIIIIIIIITSUUUUUUUUUUUNEEEEEE
>while this story surprisingly doesn't end with a dead grandma, it still gets me because it feels much closer to reality
You say that but we don't know how Harumi will react to her mother-in-law returning home.
>poor Harumi
Ouwch!
>wait, this is not tea! it's sake*!
*rice wine
Damn you Jei! Using the old tar Jeiby trick!
The fact that Kitsune could immediately tell he was playing them and making a threat really speaks to her skill.
Well, he wasn't trying to hide it- a warning they can't hear is useless.
what an off-putting child
keiko is already getting creepy
Cute angry rabbits.
OUTPLAYED
>give recurring villain a cute girl as a companion in order to make the villain more likeable as a child's guardian
Sakai used this trick at least twice.
>Eminem's Venom starts playing in the distance
I can sense an elemental of greed...
And just for a moment she was free from possession :[
No, never mind. My mistake.
Getting awfully "Columbo" in here, not that I mind that at all.
At least she has manners
IT'S TIME
>thinking of miracles occurring in feudal Japan
user...
Usagi you fool
Usagi, sometimes you are too nice for your own good.
Awkward one-sided conversation is awkward.
This bitch
>literally gets vassals of great lords to owe her patronage
No wonder she can treat Usagi like shit.
Even Usagi is sick of your shit, you old bitch.
Good thing no one ever died of a brain bleed in feudal Japan.
Oh, no, it wasn't a one-time thing. It is *continually* the worst.
Wasn't this a stranger mission in RDR 1/2?
Even if she has a sad backstory, she is still a cunt.
This reminds me of this little incident some years ago.
youtube.com
Have you ever played Puzzles and Dragons?
Now you are getting it.
Welcome to feudal Japan.
What a total bitch. We'll be lucky if Harumi poisons her tea.
Look at how happy he is in the fourth panel.
RE-ENTER OUR BIG BAD
HIRE A SAMURAI
>trying to kill an eldritch abomination with material means
Fool.
>These country bumpkins—Always exaggerating!
Sounds like bad news.
Poor Gennosuke, seeing him spend all this money just breaks your heart, doesn't it?
Keiko is horrifying. But that's what exposure to Jei does to you.
like heathocliffu-san?
I love seeing Usagi when he's lighthearted
>element of surprise
speak of the rhino
It's just friendly banter.
Look how good friends they are!
No one can escape Jei.
>What could happen to me here
famous lasts words.
>minor enter
>when even Gen can't afford you
Looks like he encountered Hayashi in that upper middle part, so unfortunately it seems that Harumi didn't poison the old crone.
Gen is brutal.
>One day foreigners could come snooping into Edo.
en.wikipedia.org
Usagi looks pretty bad here as if he was fighting a horde of bandits.
It was just a prank, bro!
This is feudal japan, nothing good ever happens here.
>31 vertical panels in folding fan style
Jesus Usagi that is some Alex Honnold grip strength.
>Imagine armies swooping down from the skies. They would be unbeatable!
Oh, like VDV?
>I'm going to jump over the falls!
Oh no.
well that's morbid
Poetic justice is a dangerous by-product of meddling.
Ok, this is no longer bad, this is delightful.
>Nowhere, Tono.
>Even *your* lands are feudal Japan.
I don't know why but that "Go." felt very authoritative.
>You WILL have fun, Tomoe.
What did that one guy say when he died 10 storytimes ago? Shabu-Shabu or something? In the really big panel with a bunch of death sounds?
Trout!
Usagi is like a kid in a candystore.
>Slash first questions later
Right, trout trout!
based OP
What were those panels for?
>how do you know this, Tomoe?
>...it was revealed to me in a dream
privacy, looking cool
Yeah, that was pretty stupid of her.
Based "I had a dream about it" Tomoe
I think Stan is mostly relating another very real part of Japanese history, during the Tokugawa Shogunate, when christianity was actively suppressed and believers were either forced to publicly renounce their faith or face execution, often by crucifixion (a la Noodles style)
There's a very good movie from the 70s called Silence about a missionary going to Japan at this time despite the known peril of persecution and death
>FLOOOooo
A succubus!
She's not a real ghost! She didn't tug on her hair!
Nah, he just becomes roommates with Buddha.
How many vengeful woman spirits have we encountered so far?
Panel 4 is... ominous.
He's just a little mad....
Don't worry about it, Im sure it's nothing...
heh. heh. heh. heh...
It does seem significant, doesn't it? Senzo's about to go feudal Japan.
Oh shit, she's a speedrunner!
youtu.be
And yet he doesn't react too much whenever Informant is around.
ACAFJ
All Cops Are Feudal Japan
wouldn't that mean you're projecting into Usagi?
Are you feeling a inexplicable urge to meddle?
Tell me about Nezumi, why does he not respect the jitte?
he is criminal scum and maybe the police assistant
>the upcoming show is full of kiddie stuff, why can't we get a true adaptation of the comic?
Gee, I wonder.
What speedrun should I watch to make this sensible to me? I played the game but it was 15 years ago.
spoiler alert: they won't
>I think Stan is mostly relating another very real part of Japanese history
That's also my understanding. But personally I can't help but notice that japanese deities were depicted as animal people while Jesus was not.
It's Rocket Robinhood (minus the rocket)
youtu.be
Is exorcism a head priest power?
youtube.com
This one includes some explanatory clips.
But seriously, speedrunning is a helluva scene.
:(
But it's a youkai story, it totally fits!
Damn Usagi is ripped. Now I can see why girls are all over him.
I don't think there's anything to it. the crucifix doesn't even have much detail to make out if it's a human or not
TAKENOKO NO
She's so cool.
Stupid Sexy Usagi
"I wonder if his question could have had a second meaning?"
"Hush wife! You know that under Shogunate law peasants are not allowed swords, guns, or irony."
I learned what sound a fox makes all by myself around 2007. I was nocturnal for work, and on a night off, was taking a walk around 3am.
I heard a woman screaming. Again and again. Is that what it sounds like? Why does the sound keep repeating methodically? I wondered. I had to call the cops, but where would I send them? I had to find the souce of the sound.
I left the bike path through a cutaway into forested surburbia. I was barely able to make out the street names using the screen of my flip phone as a flashlight. I followed the noise through the dark wooded streets for long minutes that felt like an eternity. -The screaming getting closer and closer, louder and louder. Less and less human. Is someone beating a dog? I thought. Until, there, on somebody's front lawn, was some kind of animal, in the darkness. It looked at me, and ran away, into the deeper wooded darkness of the back yards. And I saw its tail and figured it was a fox. I managed to find my way back to the main drag and went about my day(nocturnal).
So, what I'm saying is, I have always felt an inexplicable urge to meddle.
so what does the fox say?
what's the decapitation count?
This type of a scene shows on covers, but it's nice to see in actual comic.
Awww, if it weren't for all the worse happenings, this would be the worst.
>The moment Usagi saw through katsuichi's bullshit
"But sir, you're an arrogant and prideful man of wealth and many hidden vices, and I am just a beautiful maiden who mysteriously appeared with no family or past, it would not be proper for us to consort together, however, I will reluctantly accept, oh yes, I have some suggestions about how you could best manage your domains..."
HeeHaiOUu!!
Repeatedly.
Oh, or maybe this
A positive ending! In feudal Japan even!
now that's scary
With all the talk of "The worst" what's your thought on "The best?"; because this one stands out for me as a top 5 happy ending from the series.
WOW
youtube.com
It's uncanny, it sounds just like how it sounds at clothing sales.
As the actual worst poster, this might well be the second-happiest, with only Zato-Ino beating it.
Probably the one where Ito recovers from his arrow wound thanks to Gen and Usagi.
And why he survived for so long.
Uh-oh.
Eyy it's best girl again!
we still didn't get to best girl yet
Next story must have double suffering to compensate!
Perhaps he was wondering, why would you incarcerate a man, before bringing the powerful corrupts to justice?
Really? Something to look forward to, then. We're still pretty early in the series, right?
Who knew indeed.
we're more or less in the middle
MINIS?!
Darn. Licensed 2003, all out of print, no molds extant anymore.
Aw fuck.
Not even CAD-files?
that's it for today.
tomorrow, it will be a good time to be a tomoe fan.
Can you tell me how long it will be until we get to the (crappy) noble poet and the murder mystery at a roadside inn?
Ok, pretty good. It's funny, I had been thinking about The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck, and wishing to read something with that kind of scope and operatic sweep. And then I saw the first storytime for Usagi (first time I'd seen the first one live) and I thought "hey that might scratch that itch". And it is! (Thanks for posting.)
Pity feudal Japan is just the worst.
I had a thought. People have mentioned that the cartoon has to be anti-monster because you can't have them fighting people. But I just thought how it would be nice if all Usagi had to fight were monsters and society was ok, and then I really grokked why they're going in the broad direction they are.
The yo-yo is still idiotic, though.
Interestedly this seems to be the inspiration to one of the early stories.
I dunno, I just found this:
miniatures-workshop.com
Fun fact, I wrote The Life and Rimes of Scrooge McDuck before catching it, and now I'm picturing him flyting.
>I had been thinking about The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck
youtube.com
Can't wait
Tomorrow's story is Stan on the top of his game and personally my absolute favorite of the series
though I haven't read past Two Hundred Jizo
Allright then.
I was just thinking that with 3D model files one could possibly 3D print them.
it's volume 29 so in 9 days
glad you're enjoying it. it's always nice to see new readers
Good time to be a Tomoe fan eh?
Im sure the stories we will be reading tomorrow will be GOLDEN...
You can tell someones is stupid because when you call them stupid they get offended.
>9 days
Ah, well then.
I have to hold this one poem in me until then.
Now the storytime is over I can post this, it's the first thing my mind went to when I saw that cover and I hate it.
Goddamn it, Gen
The real reason is probably that Stan was wary of any potential blowback from depicting Jesus as an animal person. As far as I know, there aren't nearly as many hardcore Shinto practitioners nowadays as there are Christians.
So that's 2 people who having died from cliff out of 10 who've jumped?
Oh well too late to start counting now, I'll save it for next year.
>starving christians were attacked by their brothers in faith from europe
Yes, a murderer, robber and possible rapist gets to live his old days peacefully with no repercussions because he feels bad about what he did and recently helped with a leaky roof and a broken leg, so it totally evens out. In the meantime, multiple children were starving and dozens of families still suffer because he killed their sole providers during his bandit days. Even in modern times he'd rot in prison till he croaks.
This guy will later build a fucking Gundam
I would love to read an Stan story about the Simpsons in feudal Japan.
>If you weren't honorable why else would you go on a murder spree.
Moeagare! Moeagare! Moeagare Usagiii!
youtube.com
>Nezumi Kozo lived in 1820
So over 200 years apart from Usagi's times!
Infernal beasts.
"How did you come upon this knowledge?"
"It was revealed to me in a thumbnail, I have no clue what it actually says so most of what I just said was made up!"
Kek!
What's this an image for Ari*?
*Ari=Ants
Didn't realize I saved that wrong
It's the grumpy old hag but with more human-like proportions.
WHAT
Hello! I'm back after a short break. While I'm running out of interesting material to post, there is still this one cool thing: a Star Wars story by Stan Sakai! Remember when both UY and SW were at Dark Horse?
kek, now for sure Gen will find Inazuma.
Sadly this is a Phantom Menace prequel comic, but eh, I've posted worse.
It's not canon, unless it is.
You'll see. In time.
We do have a lot of instances where Usagi wins by having the high ground
Someone needs to story time Tag and Bink one of these days
This is the shogunate, thousands of towns inhabited by Japanese. Once united in peace under the Emperor.
But for the last three hundred years it has been consumed by savage wars.
Until a new enemy appeared, mysterious invaders known as Tako*.
Powerful and ruthless they struck like lightning, attacking every province at once.
But they made one big mistake. They attacked my home town!
Now in the spirit of the shogunate ancient enemies are reunited!
And we're gonna take back our islands!
youtube.com
Now this is pod racing.
It hurt to type that.
>the 70s
Wait, so the movie with Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver is a remake? Or I guess a new adaptation? Very interesting user I learned something I didn't know today.
Damn Ti'lek's walk around like that? Funny that we don't see Stan draw much fanservice, it's well known that artists are super horny and durry ones even more so.
And another one
Forgot to add the translation like a dummy.
(*Octopus)
The power of CHRIST (tm) has temporarily clouded their judgement, allowing Usagi to make good on his escape
Top kek!
Funny you mention it...
If you want to do something yourself.
Saved for the folder.
>Murderanon started the storytime
>but each page is uploaded by Anonymous
Lads, I think we have a sussy baka amongus
Top notch work
And that's it for Star Wars. Now let's end my contribution to this year's storytime in my style: with official Sakai pin-ups!
look how happy he is
Sakai likes this type of stories when actions have big but seemingly unconnected consequences.
Remind me, is Chief Ito the same terrible boss from Usagi's last encounter with Ishida?
We start with a simple Usagiverse crossover beach episode...
Don't do it user you gotta fight it! Fight those impure dark kami thoughts!
Nope, this one is from the same clone vats they picked Kagemaru out of.
In other words he is a carbon copy of the guy who got killed in an earlier story, but not the same guy.
But how about Usagi meeting the Dirty Pair?
Oh look Nii's got his own jitte now too. Boy's moving on up in the world.
A couple years ago, actually probably like 5 years ago fuck, some user mentioned they were an artist at some furrycon that Stan was attending.
Apparently pass around a big piece of paper and have every artists draw something on it.
The user forgot they were supposed to keep all the drawings PG so he did like a nude furry and handed it to Stan to do the next drawing.
Stan saw the user's drawing and apparently he had such a horrified look on his face the user immediately apologized and hastily drew some clothes over the nude.
I'm probably getting some details wrong, but I always thought that was really fucking funny.
What's it like not having a soul?
Well, Inazuma showed a hint of boobies the one time she could relax.
There's also nonzero of fanservice if you're into men in fundoshi.
you saw nothing
its better than accidentally post in other boards with the name on
He's like a cool version of the sheriff from Rambo
I'm going to be honest this was painful to read
oh boy where is this going
And finally something really spicy if you're in the know: a Chirality pic. Stan has good taste.
Well, that's it for me this year. From now on I'll be just another user in the crowd. Thanks and goodnight!
yep, original film by Masahiro Shinoda, based on a novel by a Japanese author who was a practicing catholic.
If you want to experience some cinematic whiplash check out his filmography
brooding yakuza, frenetic samurai, modern day satire, interpersonal dramatic thiller, the aforementioned Silence. He is all over the place
Ah it wasn't that bad
Finally some proper fanservice
kek'ed and checked
Sadly I must tell you that short story was better than most modern star wars comics.
The Dark horse days were the best for them.
Well. That's certainly something.
anyone seen the pointless question, arouse inducing image meme?
thank you! you were a blessing (and a curse) to the threads
"Sign my petition, or it'll be your surviving family members"
>Even in modern times he'd rot in prison till he croaks.
Wow, so we'd waste even more time and money just to torture a man rather than bring actual justice all so we could prevent him from actually paying back his debt to society that he is already doing without further prodding
I don't know, ask the murderer, robber and a possible rapist.
We all saw that
I like these very yojimbo/spaghetti western moments with Gen, like the "keep this entirely generous tip....but first give me some info"
Don't forget that Stan did this pic of Tomoe
Beheading a guy made by a family member doesn't cost any taxes!
>stupid Biff
HERE WE GO!
If Jei possesed someone around Keiko's age
What would she call him? Nii-san?
>local nerd saved by wandering meddler, science boner too stiff to let him quit while he's ahead
Correct nor does flogging
>local bully not so tough after being raped (by karma)
He doesn't tell him next time either
To-MOE looks like such a babe kitted out in full samurai armor.
"We should forgive him, because he feels bad and acts good now" is on par with "We should forgive him, because he has a sad backstory". How about he actually has to work for that forgiveness and not just start fresh in another place without ever facing the consequences? It's not just about the hatamoto, he was a murdering bandit for years.
I love Usagi always banging on doors
>Well, Inazuma showed a hint of boobies the one time she could relax.
I got the folder with user's famous Onsen Catfight, but it's scrambled and I don't remember the proper order.
Making a bold assumption but i am willing to bet he's drawn lewds at some point in his career much like Tezuka and Barks
No you didn't, that man doesn't exist anymore.
Check-mate.
I wonder if Sanshobo was particularly devout in his secular life, because transitioned seamlessly from samurai general to Sasuke-Lite
Sure kick the dead, no trouble would come from this.
Yeah, but those were commoners so they don't count.
>How about he actually has to work for that forgiveness
but he is? he's living in poverty, going around villages helping people. how else is he going to work for forgiveness?
Ishida would like to have a word with you.
damn foreigners, they are not human!
In the end our past always catches up with us.
youtube.com
I wouldn't call them preachy outside of the Christian belief of not treating people like its feudal Japan.
It's near impossible to track the families of people he killed and try to repay them, but maybe he could start by stopping his former comrades from doing more harm (at least rat them out to the cops) and not allowing them to rampage for years till a young samurai with a personal vendetta finally stops them?
>Tezuka
I hope Stan isn't going to try to imitate the master
>bows politely to his hosts even though they are peasants
>aks them nicely for the information they need
>doesn't kill the man and rape the woman
>leaves
Matabei is too pure and good for feudal Japan
>you activated my trap card
So by your own admission, the priest should have lost his head.
Yeah, took me a second to realize it was a single image.
And imprisonment is a poor fucking punishment. Either kill the man dead for his sins or accept his restitution.
And he is making restitution, actively paying back what he took from society in the manner available to him. This isn't just him feeling bad, this is him operating a charity with tangible benefits until the day he dies. Whether you find that a worthwhile substitute for execution is your prerogative but don't pretend he's only paying lip service.
You activated my uno reverse card.
Im a different user and just decided to butt in on this conversation!
Thats why I thought for the longest time.
Enter best thief.
he probably did rat them out, but the police couldn't catch them (they're bandits)
and I think you're missing the point. the man has gone from a killer to a good man who helps others, and he concedes and apologies to the vendetta samurai he was wrong. have you ever heard of this kirishitan concept called "forgiveness"?
Was Town Called Hell (and Return) storytimed already or is it bound to happen? For some strange reason, I fucking love this one because it has reasonable antagonist and a surprising happy ending
He was ready to atone with his head, user. Take your complaints to the meddler.
Enter Inspector Ishida again.
So if a world renowned children surgeon who saved thousands of kids or a billionaire philanthropist who sponsors countless charities was suddenly found guilty of rape and murder, we should give them a slap on the wrist and let him go so they can repay that murder by doing more good? Because it makes as much sense as forgiving a vile murderer turned caring priest. Same shit, different angle.
youtube.com
I like this version more
Hahaha, get fucked Udon
yeah I thought I remembered that guy dying at the end. I guess Ishida himself wasn't an option for promotion to chief inspector directly with his far-left pinko liberal "justice applies to everyone equally" demagougery
Really? What did he expect at a furrycon, of all things?
I think it's still ahead of us.
if he confessed and repented? yes.
if he continues again, no
New boss, same shit.
Have you ever heard of such an outrageous concept as law?
>And saith Jesus unto them: ‘Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s’.
Guess, what, it is this album that started me off. The Sands of Time song is on my favorites now.
>you can kill people if it's just this one time and you promise to behave
kek
nice
look I know there is some sort of way to explain it but I'm not smart enough to do it
Stop spreading your barbarian mind poison or I'll call the magistrate!
If they were certain to not do it again and the kin/those affected are fine with it then sure. Nigger was ready to die to prove he accepted his sin and the son of one he murdered accepted his repentance as genuine.
Regardless you miss my fucking point, i don't care about either of that shit I care that you suggested imprisonment as if its anywhere close to a good outcome for literally anybody.
The chief of police is not quite a carbon copy of his predecessor this one seem a little fatter.
At least 4.
Don't worry about it.
"A girl does what she has to in order to get by..."
Nezumi stealing Kitsune's earning when?
He doesn't get paid so no yojimboing.
Informant's greed is simply so great that it breaks the scale and renders him undetectable.
BTW
Old Testament is explicitly mentioning that multiple gods exists (aka Elohim, it has both singular and plural meaning), but Hebrews were only allowed to worship YHWH.
So back then there was no monotheism, but more like "transition mode" between polytheism and monotheism. I keep forgetting that word, i.e. you worship only one god, but you acknowledge the existence of others.
Hence why "Thou shalt have no other gods before me" has actual sense.
King Solomon had allowed to have some Canaan gods to be worshipped alongside YHWH like Chemosh. There was some other one, but my mind is blank.
Marvelous.
Usagi's sweaty muscles
user, you'd set a precedent which would make the system stupid easy to abuse and would allow people with great fortunes and high social status to get away with murder almost every single time. That'd take law back to middle ages. Don't turn us into feudal Japan.
In historical context, the priest is commendable for changing his ways. But he is still a killer who settled into a cozy new life, in a comic where Usagi kills schmucks just for chasing after Kitsune.
I think it differs from case to case
He has strong morals. But you might know from previous investigation that he is somewhat obsessed with justice to be served.
Wait till we get to the drum story.
I meant Ishida's boss.
Aww fuck, time to get some sleep. My reading comprehension fails me.
She's giving the whole "hot girl in uniform" vibe, except actually practical (for the time) and feudal Japan.
Now that would be a battle but who would win? Kitsune has the tricks but Nezumi has the movability.
