I really like Moldbug, I've been reading him and Land a lot lately. I also read his recent resignation article from Urbit. Unfortunately I don't think he'll be getting back into writing, but you never know.
If I have one objection to his work it's that I have difficulty seeing a patchwork scenario as sustainable. Governments seem to have a natural incilnation towards absorbing eachother, and I'm not sure they would be able to stop this from happening. It sort of makes sense though, with profit oriented governments not wanting to commit costly invasions usually. I feel like a Swiss model of federalism might be better, but as Moldbug would point out the Cantons aren't soverign.
Also, one might notice that all neoreactionaries are extremely handsome. This is because the beautiful sort of soul that draws one to such ideas literally transfigures the human flesh into a beacon of beauty, as if Gnon himself blesses them

For many of the malatorans it's a fetish. I am not particularly interested in dragons as a fetish, though I am aroused by furry art, so there is some small amount of bleedover. I'm a schizoaffective therian and I just wanted to make a contribution to politics while also furthering my own ambitions.

I'm degenerate as fuck but the dragon thing is actually something of a foil against it as it concerns my ideals. When the fetish part of my brain tries to incorporate dragons into it the result is always lukewarm and the conscious part of my brain does a good job of keeping them separate (and wants them to be separate). There are furries who identify as conservative/reactionary, whatever that's worth. It is mostly a fetish for most people but it can also just be an aesthetic for some, and there's nothing inherently Degen about sex, just sex for hedonism's sake.

there are no good political doctors. Never once have some guys sat around and planned how a society would work and had it actually work that way.

Nobody can plan the details, but a handful of thinkers have directed the course of human history for the last few centuries at least. Many of the preexisting forces driving society can only be described, but most I think can and are influenced. Philosophers determine the wills of politicians and politicians determine the fate of everyone. Moldbug might exercise a great deal of influence over human history, or he might just be a noteworthy 00's blogger but if he's right about half of what he says I'd bet on the former.

yes, it doesn't make much sense with modern armies and nukes, unless there's some sort of nuke coalition that makes it work, but even then it would probably get unstable when some patches outcompete other patches in the same coalition
