one of the chapters in will to power is really sus. the one where he goes on an anti semetic rant is easy to read. usually philosophy takes a long time to read for me, but reading that chapter it was obviously written by someone with a lower iq than that of myself

Wagner was never "a devout Christian." Bryan Magee destroys this false history in his works on Wagner. Wagner went to church and took communion sometimes during his writing of Parsifal, but he was by no means a "Christian" in the actual sense. The real reason for their falling out was that both of them had very large egos and frankly after Nietzsche was subservient to Wagner for so long he eventually wanted to strike out on his own terms. Makes sense if you know their personalities. Nietzsche made the break edgy and in line with his philosophy just to give it gravity. It was undoubtedly embarrassing for him.
