To kill a mockingbird is a great novel and the only people who hate it are brainlets who didnt get good marks in hs english.

The Great Gatsby

Infinite Jest

I don't know. I do not compare notable literature to monotonous music.

Pretentious Blur-listening poofter detected

nah its more like the favorite book for people who have never read anything outside of high school english

A Taste of Honey (only Manc lit thing I know outside of Morrissey or Engels)

Yep

Sure if you read in a flyover american highschool system where to the logical start point is the hungry hungry caterpillar and to kill a mockingbird is the acme of literature, but for most people tkam is the foundation from which their love of literature can be cultivated and so they appreciate it in a healthy way.
