Hm. Interesting. It didn’t occur to me that perhaps i may be causing this kind of effect on a particular introvert that i know.

As to your question, there really no telling unless you establish a parameter. Better towards what? I’d say if you want power, reward or really any material objective, extroversion is key. However beinv introverted is more conducive to a rich inward life.

i guess for intellectual development (even tho that sounds pretentious as fuck)

>Judging other people through retarded dichotomies such as introverted or extroverted

ah, to be 16 again

>implying socialising and dialogue is 'useless information'
This is the sort of thing shy yet stupid people tell themselves. It's the shy equivalent of 'I'm smart but I'm lazy'

Well, think about it, how does one aquire knowledge of the world if one is turns away from it? How can you develop an understanding of human bejngs, tbe way they think, what they do, their nature if you lack the empircal datum that comes from being an active member of the social world?

by reading

>ah, to be 16 again
ah, to be 17 again

Most of great authors and philosophers would disagree with you. Reading will never provide you with the necessary wisdom.

>>ah, to be 16 again
>ah, to be 17 again
ah, to be in the early twenties again

How do you gain wisdom?

You watch porn 24/7 but you still don't know what sex is like

In the Epistemological sense of the word, yes. In the meme sense, yes but no one cares.

No, in order to have true intellectual development you must discuss your ideas with other people. The type of person that created OPs image lack the self awareness to realise that literally everyone thinks this way.

Unfortunately, yes this does mean you aren't some kind of withdrawn genius lmao

Ah, to be in the early twenties.

OPs pic pretty much sums up my internal strife.
god damn this life.
hey, i rhymed! but seriously, internal strife can be a real motherfucker sometimes. Hold me, user. :(

I can't remember the name, but there's a book by a philosopher that's frequently tossed around here, who has a dedicated work on solitary.

Through adversity.

Kierkegaard?

No of course, you need to be as obnoxious and loud as possible. You need to speak and act before you think you fucking incel. You don't need to care for responsibility.

Why would adversity itself give you wisdom? If we look at identical twins with identical experiences and knowledge, with the only difference being that one is 400 pounds, I don't think the 400 pound twin is any wiser for having to struggle walking up a flight of stairs.

Introversion is not the same as being an anxiety-ridden wreck who thinks poorly of people for enjoying conversation.

This, a model looking male can be introvert but a nerd can't because he is ugly and I don't like him.

The nerd, seeing as he's the object here, isn't some intelligent introvert just because he hates socialising and thinks people who do it are stupid; not because he's ugly and unlikable.
