How to Make Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie

start with people you have power over, break their spirit by assigning menial tasks and undermining their confidence in their abilities, approach them abruptly and ask what's wrong, when they say 'nothing,' say they look upset, like they don't want to be there, when they protest tell them not to get so defensive, you're just asking, talk about them with others as though they aren't standing right next to you, in ambiguous terms, not openly hostile or complimentary, just generic observations, call attention to them without granting them a voice or an audience, keep them on the periphery of social functions, occasionally take them aside and describe in irritation you have with another co-worker, use harsh language, make accusations, lull them into thinking you're confiding in them, if you find them busy interrupt their work, if you find them idle ask if they need something to do, keep them on their toes, never let them off the hook, assign greater responsibilities to less qualified people, further weakening their professional resolve, they will be seething and the threat of termination will keep them in check, pretty soon they won't know which way is up or whether to shit or wind their watch, eventually they break, have an emotional outburst and are dismissed. Hope this helps!

How to kill friends and Annihilate people.

manipulation isn't something that can be learned, some people just have a knack for it. typically super high-iq types or psycho/sociopaths.

if you put forth any conscious effort towards manipulating someone, if they're at all perceptive, they're gonna notice and your plan (whatever that may be) will backfire.

be a good person, user

your attempt at manipulating us into morality is all too transparent

The Prince by Machiavelli

I'm really struggling to understand how anyone could finish reading this dreck cover to cover.

Its pretty horrible but worth a skim to pick the principles and ideas out of it

Man I can't wait until you meet someone like me :)
>b-but hitting people is il-
>wake up the next day breathing through a tube

so you don't try to manipulate people you just outright intimidate them with threats of physical violence which you are prepared to follow through on regardless of the consequences? Brilliant, based and fascistpilled
