Hmm. Okay let’s unpack this.
>American Psycho
Wow. White male anti-female revenge fantasy.
>Tree of Life
Terence Malick. ‘Nuff said.
>Clockwork Orange
Another white male rape fantasy where he wins by getting it removed from his head.
>The assassination of Jesse James
Long, boring, and full of cisgendered white men and women.
>Fight Club
Do I even have to?
>zodiac
*ahem* again, do I even have to?
>The Thin Red Line
Another war movie where the white male soldiers are the good guys against the evil POC and win in the end. Also, Terence malick.
>2001
Ummm, do I even have to again? This movie doesn’t even make any sense.
>The Master
Nothing happens. Sooo boring. And it’s on a boat too. Fuck boats. Joaquin is an incel as well so fuck him

The problem is that a top 10 list is just too small...There's at least 100 or 200 films i can think of which i'd consider as classic/masterpieces... So let's just say that the 10 films i posted were just a sample of a much larger list
>>American Psycho
>>The Tree of Life
>>Clockwork Orange
>>The Assassination of Jesse James
>>Fight Club
>>Zodiac
>>The Thin Red Line
: A Space Odyssey
>>The Master
Anyway, aside from what i posted...
Here's my opinion on the ones you posted:
American Psycho
9/10
Tree of Life
4/10
Clockwork Orange
8/10
The Assassination of Jesse James
(still haven't seen it, is it really that good?)
Fight Club
9/10
Zodiac
9/10
Thin Red Line
5/10
2001: A space Odyssey
8/10
The Master
8/10
The problem with Before Sunset is that you also have to see Before Sunrise
imdb.com
True but that doesn't diminish it. I also love Before Sunrise, ranked 28th on my list. It's just a little flawed compared to the other two films.

Yes i also liked them.
And i bet Richard Linklater (if he's still alive) will eventually release a 4rth, 5th one (as long as his actors are still alive and ok with it)...
It's a continuous project imo
There's one film director who already did this from memory..
Claude Lelouche
recently release this one
"Les plus belles années d'une vie"

Same actors... only many decades later.
Here they are when they were much younger

I can tell you’ve seen less than 10 foreign language films in your life from that list
