During his battle with Tritter, he really really screws up a case; it’s only because Chase figures it out that House doesn’t needlessly cut a little girl in half. He also has at least two instances where he only figures out what’s wrong in the autopsies. A lot more patients die than I remember, now that I’m watching it again.

House is fun to watch, but only works in a TV show. There are a lot of real life idiots, who think they are geniuses who the rules don't apply to and they can really fuck things up.
